Set your own fair price for the classic Divine Divinity, where you become the chosen one, destined to fulfil an ancient prophecy and save the Seven Races of Rivellon. In this extensive, challenging, and very addictive game you will encounter many different enemies and a great variety of items, NPCs, and quests.

The top 10% of our most generous users will also grant themselves an early access to the upcoming Divinity 2: Developer's Cut.The Developer's Cut, which is the ultimate edition of the game, comes with Divinity II and the expansion Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance, as well as a special developer's mode and extra goodies, will be available on PC on the 18th of October, 2012, but if you buy it here you will get to play it a day earlier than everyone else! The "Director's Cut" subtitle also means, that you'll have the unique opportunity to experience the game just as the developers did: with optional access to developer console you'll feel like the god of the realm.

But that's not all! All of the games come with an extensive amount of goodies--especially Divinity 2: Developer's Cut features a crazy amount of bonus materials (all of which you can access as soon as you finalize your purchase). To make things even more interesting, Larian Games told us that as the sales progress, they will be releasing some very special announcements and interesting videos. Heard enough? saige: Yeah, it's not technically pay what you want since you need to meet the above average price to get everything.
It's not even "beat the average" to get everything, it's "beat 90% of the other purchasers," which is why the price is increasing so quickly. It's almost doubled in less than an hour.

Since I already have both of the games I want from this bundle and they're already DRM-free, there's no reason for me to even bother trying to beat the over-inflated top numbers. The dev console isn't worth $17 to me.

keeveek: I asume they may manually lower the tiers average prices if they go too high. I hope so, at least...
avatar
Lexor: That will be kind of cheating and unfair for others who paid some $ "a little earlier", just before this "manual fix".
Why should it be fair? Indie gala makes happy hours from the Day 1 and nobody died so far.

If somebody paid more than others, it's the price s/he was ready to pay. Nobody's forcing anybody...

Asbeau: Pretty sure it doesn't work like that. Can anyone who's bought it and used the code confirm?
Take a look here, 1 code, 2 people redeeming it. So my faith in GOG.com Gift Codes is restored :)
avatar
Lexor: Maybe I am wrong but... if Divinity II's normal price $19.99 and already "top supporter" requires $15+ so I think really soon "top supporter" will be above $19.99 - that will be a little "weird" to pay for someone who has two other games. Such promo idea is quite nice but its design and execution is really poor.
avatar
cyboff: Execution is strange at least, price is rising minute after minute, it really should have some "top supporter" limit of $15.99 (like 50% off the bundle)
The main problem is (it seems) that top supporter price are going to be higher and higher.
Easy fix it could be by using two times average price to get DII instead of that. Current set will cause less $ in-flow in nearly future as noticeable less people will be interested to pay "top supporter" price to get DII.
Nice way to get people with money to spare to open their wallets. For people looking for a good deal, it's good for Divine Divinity, a terrible deal for Beyond Divinity, and an okay deal on Divinity II (so far).

Nordwolf: I hope he or she didn`t misspell the intended amount (comma fault or so...) :-D
avatar
JMich: System seems to change commas to dots, so either one will work. So it seems that yes, he did enter 1000, and accepted the charge O_o
I was curious and played around a bit... $2.500 is the max number the input field accepts. Maybe, someone is going to beat the current "highscore"...

(definitely not me)
avatar
TheEnigmaticT: Probably because Divinity II: Developer's Cut (which is what it's part of) won't be unlocked until the 17th.
avatar
RaggieRags: Um... So the extras I can download now are extras for the DC, not part of the DC...?
Hm. I could be mistaken, then. I'll email the guys at the office and see.

I am not into Indie Gala, but do they announce such possibility of such fixes/happy hours at start of promo? Or they are unexpected?

Sometimes they tell when they will occur, sometimes don't. Well, let's just hope GOG set up some maximum minimum price point for all games...

We're just few dollars away from where this bundle starts to be not so good offer to people who are not interested in supporting the devs.

We know that there will be happy hours, but not when. And it probably also depends on bundle popularity, some have had Happy Hours in the first 3 days, current one (Worms + Broken Sword) had few of those in the first week.
The "beat the average" price for DD 1+2 has now exceeded the list price of these games ...

I'm not sure if that was expected, but it's certainly exciting to watch. :)

PirateNeilsouth: Pay what you want for the Divinity Anthology It isn't actually, its pay what you want for Divine Divinity, you gotta pay 15.99 for DII.. that isn't exactlying paying what i want to pay. Misleading advertising
avatar
Lexor: Ah, right, its not good too... :( sigh
Yep, if I'm reading it correctly, it's actually not a very good deal if you want more than the first game (very good deal for the first game)

To be able to 'unlock' Beyond Divinity (I already own Divine Divinity), I have to pay $12.99 - which then gets me two games, but one I already own and, if I bought them individually instead of through the bundle sale they'd be cheaper.

And no, i'm not interested in the extras :)

BTW, the above is just an observation. I've almost finished playing Divine Divinity, which is AWESOME, but it will be a while before I want to buy Beyond Divinity as it IS a 100-hour plus game and I just don't have the time, so I'm not interested in buying just now.

Ubivis: I wonder how the videos can be unlocked, 15K Bundles have to be sold for the first video, at 377 solds we are already at an price of $15. What pricetag will be there at the 15K mark? $1000 a Bundle?
The slider cannot go past the maximum $39.99 value.

Click on number, type a number, pay what you want.
Also explained in the FAQ.
ADDITION: This IS a nice way to support the developers, though, if you have the money.
