DukeNukemForever: My guess: Tomorrows promo will be a big franchise like the Might & Magic World (would also fit with the globe from the video) but beside this GOG will release another two free games: Dreamweb and Flight of the Amazon Queen. Both kind of the topic world end, except there are no mayans ;-)
Hmm, I just remembered Duke Nukem 3D. Would GOG really release more free games so soon?
is it Bloodlines
It's clearly Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, with pocket fluff in PDF (Pocket Digital Fluff) format.

TVs_Frank: I'm betting Final Fantasy 7 since it doesn't require a new license and has a doomsday scenario of sorts.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Right, Square Enix refused to sell it anywhere but their own store, and with tons of DRM on top. They'd -never- sell their cash cow DRM free.

Hell, there's a better chance of System Shock 2 showing up here than Final Fantasy VII.

I hope it's something free! I've been playing the stuffing out of Duke3D right now.

I wouldn't be surprised if it had a doomsday scenario too, but that also means it could be anything! A lot of games have 'em, after all.
What time can we expect this announcement?

Let's all point at him and laugh.
Oh, man. Now I am afraid to buy the Square Enix games on my wish list in case I need the money for tomorrow for something amazing. Hmm... I shall have to chew on this. I really do have enough for both I think but I'm trying to stretch it as much as possible.

I have to give GOG credit for something. They were smart to be the first running a big holiday sale, at least first before Steam. I am inclined to let the Steam wish list just sit until Summertime with so much great stuff here. They've done a good job baiting me with the stuff on the front page which keeps updating from time to time. I look through the genres from time to time and keep noticing games I then look into and what do you know? They wind up on my wish list! GOG is devious I tell you! lol

Vagabond: I know what's coming. It's a doozy.

Angry nerds that have been complaining for months will soon go to rest.
You know, that line, plus the GOG video of the world blowing up, actually makes me seriously think that there's a good chance they'll be bringing System Shock 2 to GOG. Either that or Grim Fandango + LucasArts. I don't think any other requests have elicited as much bitching and whining from the Peanut Gallery than those two.

haydenaurion: LOL, I know, it's just i've been hoping this game would finally come to GOG, but maybe all this hoping is just a fantasy or seven. (I really stretched that last one, LOL.)
That would be cool, but I somewhat doubt it. Didn't Squeenix make a big fuss out of rereleasing their "remasteted" version of PC FFVII? I really find it unlikely that they'd release it on GOG - wasn't it released with SecuROM or something like that?

Actually I can think of 1 other request that has elicited as much umm.. "heated discussions" from the Peanut Gallery

You know, I take back what I said earlier - Linux support would actually be pretty momentous.
Is GOG gonna close down for a couple of days again?
A Grim Fandango/LucasArts deal would be the BEST!

Since Outlaws *so* needs to be on this site!
Cool a Going Out Of Business Sale !!!
