The RPS article on the GOG rebranding claims that GOG will be aiming to release three games a week rather than two. I didn't spot that in the announcement from GOG or on other sites though: did RPS get the wrong end of the stick?

"""This comes alongside their new frontpage, the news that they’ll be aiming to add three games a week instead of two, an improved downloader, and the addition of The Whispered World, Trine, and the soon-to-be-added Machinarium, Darwinia and Spacechem."""
I think what they were trying to say was that they will be releasing games every week now.
So my wishlist and backlog will grow 50% faster than before?

Only if you buy and finish games 50% faster too (or your current rate of purchasing and completion is 0), else the wishlist and backlog growth increment are inversely related to your increase of acquisition and completion.
Maybe they saw this week's releases and extrapolated from that?
According to Gamestar (german pc magazine), GOG is going to release 3 games a week instead of 2 -> http://www.gamestar.de/news/branche/2566232/good_old_games.html
Well, maybe we'll hear something about this next week at the conference.
Would be good news if true.
I would love it if they split it up so they have three separate release days. I always get excited to see which new games are coming so 3 exciting days > 2 exciting days
Let's wait for the official word on this but I highly doubt this will happen.
about damn time!

just friggin' release what games you got, GOG. let us sort them out...
Cool beans if it's indeed true.
They can easily put out an indie release on top of their normal output as no effort is required to get the game working properly. Releasing two indies and a classic would actually mean less work for them.
It makes sense. After adding the new price point, they have a lot of new games to put up.

This makes sense. Probably have a bucket load of indies to put up for sale.
Although after the initial launch period, i think most of us would be happy with a 1 newish (im tempted to say indie..that seems all there is right now) and 1 classic game a week...?
