Could there ever be such a thing as a GOGmix spotlight? where say, one particular GOGmix (nominated by GOG.com, not by votes) has say, a bundle sale? Just say someone has a "AWESOMECOOLRPG" mix that for some reason GOG.com thinks is awesome, but no one else has seen. they could, for example, make a 30% off sale when you buy all the games from the mix or something. Maybe even giving Karma points to the creation for each/every X number of sales?
+1
Sounds like a great idea!:)
I mean, how many "activision/atari/sierra pack" promos can They do anyway?

exactly, user based sales would be an interesting twist, and a good way for users to get free karma. (or maybe games if GOG was particularly generous) it would also encourage people to use the new feature, and actually put effort into their descriptions of the games.

Also, if you like my idea, up-rate my initial comment to show GOG that lol
Methinks somebody is trying to farm rep... :p

While i like the idea of using them for promos, i don't think i'll be ever making one. I just don't feel the need to do so. I'm one of those who likes to dig games up by myself. And i encourage that in people. There's no better feeling than lifting an old rock and finding a great game/album/movie covered with dust. Mixes serve them on a platter.;)

And speaking of giving games.. It's BEEN AGES SINCE WE HAD A COMPETITION, GOG!:)

Actually, yes, it does sound like a good idea, but there may legal and logistical barriers to doing it that we haven't really considered. For example, for all we know, one or more of the publishers may have clauses in their contracts that precludes them being a part of any price markdown. Ubisoft for example, I don't think there has ever been a sale on any of the Ubi titles to date and most of them are overpriced to begin with.
