Actually the jester speculation is kinda funny and would be semi fitting (though that role is somewhat of a letdown after the first day), although it doesn't look like Robb is trying to get lynched either (past his initial claim) so somehow I doubt that's it heh. But to be safe, if we want to lynch Robb, make sure it's the 2nd day on at least then. Still prefer a town vig (if any) a couple days down the road to get 'im though, saves the lynch.
Also @Orry,
L-4 isn't lynch territory, not when there are only 12 people. It's just barely halfway to a lynch. In fact if he DOES get quicklynched, or approaches it by other bandwagon votes (since he already claimed), we'll likely be able to analyze that wagon for a ton of info too.
Generally early votes are for pressure, to see how they respond, because Mafia tend to buckle under pressure and slip up (not that town doesn't, too, but the game wouldn't get anywhere if no one votes). FoS's don't count as pressure votes so they're more like an admonishment.
There are many other people without votes. RVS votes are for fun, wacky reasons like "ViolaterX has no votes". The purpose of RVS is to generate discussion though, and remember the only guaranteed weapon Town has is their vote, so once they have suspects, the votes should be moving around to try to pressure out scum.
By FoSing person B because you have a weak reason to suspect, when the current vote is for person A with a nonexistent reason, I don't see townie motivation in that at all. I see giving a reason, and then refusing to put the vote because you're gun-shy and know he's not really Mafia.
The way I see Rob's play so far is, he's not afraid to die, as his claim is not conducive to endgame survival and he hasn't argued against being lynched/vigged eventually. Thus it's likely a good claim (or he's a good liar - never can be too sure!), and is safe in the knowledge that he will win with the town even if he's out of the game.
