nmillar: Well, that's ViolatorX joining his scum buddy. A risky tactic, but one that town seems determined to let them pull off. Rodzaju's flavour of me matches the White knight from wikipedia, so it's obvious that both Typjoon45 and ViolatorX are lying.

I'm off to borrow Gammix's idiot stick to beat you all with if you don't see through an obvious ruse.
Unless you and Rod are scum, it's very WIFOM and why I'm not voting yet.

Rodzaju: Yes I did get flavour on you.
But I have nothing yet to compare it against.
If I had to guess, based on what I saw, I would name you the Walrus.
You collect junk, including sea shells & stuff that smells of fish.
You have a set of drawers, but they don't seem to be used for anything.
Right on the spot, sir.
Therefore it seems your investigation of nmillar seems right too. This description quite imply the White Knight. But not the Red Knight so it's a big point in his favour. Though I don't understand why nmillar rejected all your of your results, even about making contraptions.

I'd like to hear something from Typhoon. He promised to post soon 19 hours ago...
Hmm... There is always the possibility that the entire argument was a carefully-planned ruse between Rod and NMillar (sorry, NMillar, but you're an experienced player and I wouldn't put it past you) rather than a hastily-assembled ruse between Typhoon45 and ViolatorX, but if that were the case I'd have expected Rod to have moved his vote onto the other stack by now. Could just be my misinterpretation of how the Mafia might act this late in the game, however.

I ask, however, if NMillar is the Red Knight, then given his character claim was before the point at which I interjected with additional information why on Earth would he have decided to switch colours and risk giving himself away through his character?

I suppose the next move to try and clear things up is obvious - Vitek, could you please give us your character, if not your role, so that we may see how it lines up with Rod's information?

As for your question, ViolatorX, despite the possible suspicion now on you if NMillar speaks the truth, you deserve an answer. Continuing on my hunch: the reason she wouldn't have wanted to make it too obvious is due to the Macho status of her role - she could not be protected if she had claimed, and wouldn't have wanted the Cop taken out that early in the game, even to secure a Mafia kill. (Quite apart from not revealing Town power roles too early, which I was under the impression was sensible play anyway) Encouraging me against Orryyrro could have been a more subtle move to indicate this - possibly not subtle enough, as it turns out.

See above. Rodzaju managed from the flavour get my character. And I don't know how could his results on nmillar fit for Red Knight.

With regard to Nmillar, I am concerned about his denials. This seems like a deliberate attempt to cast doubt on my role. I am also concerned about the lack of a broken lance in his room, as this is the one possession he has claimed.

I'd like hear more from everyone!
We still have a good portion of the day to go & we NEED to get it right this time.

Because my role PM did not mention anything about contraptions, and I hadn't looked up the White Knight character until a few hours after that exchange with Rodzaju yesterday.
Sorry about that, Vitek - you got yout answer in before I could finish my post.

I was going by the logic that if there IS a Red Knight in this game, then his actions in the story are very similar to the White Knight's when they meet in the story, and thus in here they might get similar reactions when investigated. That in itself, however, could not explain why NMillar claimed one colour over another.

However, I've had a thought about ViolatorX's statement, and I think I might have a breakthrough - the role description on the wiki tells us that it would tell you who killed the person who was murdered.

It says nothing about the ability including identifying that player's character.

Of course, I'd need someone's experience of playing the same or a similar role in another game - a Tracker or Watcher, this page suggests would do - to confirm for me this is how these roles should work. Thoughts?

QuadrAlien: Snip.
Well, I think my thoughts should be pretty obvious.

And how did Typhoon45 miss 5 posts mentioning White Knight before claiming it as his own?

You are right. I think tracker usually gets only name of player, not his character more so not both of them.
I don't have anything to add at this point, and unfortunately my role PM tells me that I am not allowed to fully explain what is happening. But I will say this:

I am on your side. I want to see a mafia member die today, and I will do anything allowed to make it happen.

Typhoon45: I want to see a mafia member die today, and I will do anything allowed to make it happen.
And you'll get your wish when you're lynched.

I think I have a reason in mind...I'm just not sure if I can get away with saying it. Rod you should probably understand it.

I keep looking and it seems like a pairing on each side, either nmillar and Rodzaju are lying, or Typhoon and Violator. I don't see anything to indicate that there's much flavor Rod could get from the Red Knight, as it seems he's not a major character.

Honestly I still can't make much sense of it all though.
OK, I did a quick recount, and there's 8 of us left, if we mislynch that's 6 left with no control.

We DO have another option though. No Lynch, it'll give our investigative roles more time and the results could prove really telling. It pushes LyLo back one day, but someone might be able to get something interesting.

We don't have to do it right away, but it is a workable option that's in front of us.

At this point, I don't see the point of holding back.
What I get from this is:
1) There is very little fluff available for Red Knight, apart from his connection to White Knight.
So I get flavour of white knight with vital piece (broken lance) missing.
This makes the conection to knight, but not white.
Ergo, Nmillar is Red knight.
Or
2) In game 4 (both me & Twilight took part) there was a mafia redirector.
I'm still not sure how that role worked.
Is it possible that I investigated Nmillar, but got the read of someone else?

This is odd & suspicous. Either:
1) You're under some kind of post restriction.
Must be an extreme restriction as you haven't posted that much.
2) Baz has warned you off.
You haven't said anything incriminating yet. What were you about to say, I wonder...
3) You're full of it.
Nuff said!
