It may well be possible that NMillar's flavour text doesn't mention everything about the character - he does come up with various inventions according to this, but they're apparently a bit useless. What you saw as a mousetrap could have been part of the pudding, for all this page suggests.
And according to that page you mentioned, Rodzaju, the song "is called" most of those things, but I think the logic is done in such a way that all four sentences can be true, even though they appear to contradict each other. Its presence, while not entirely reasonable in the context it was brought up, is still somehow strangely appropriate.
Now, I have to work out where Jesskitten's death leaves me, as she clearly saw something in me, and I have to work out what that is so that I can help avenge her.
