I'm not finding this slow. I'm finding the current claims and finger pointing to be based on little more than paranoia. With a few members trying to convince others with overblown reasonings. If anything is scummy, it's the latter.

Yes, I was talking about numbers, I meant we do not need to lynch at least first day, when all our info is based on guesses. And I'll give my reasons why I don't think Rob is a miller a little later, now it's based only on an idea.

Then if you're town don't vote yourself, even if you're a vanilla townie it still hurts us for you not to have defended yourself to the fullest extent, as even if you are lynched it shows the arguments used and townies should not lie so that after they flip town they can be seen as having been honest and their views can be used productively.

It is impossible to defend yourself to the fullest extent. Literally impossible. Defense is condemnation to some. You're all pointing fingers based off absurd reasons that will kill the town.

Townies should not lie. I agree. Which is why I've been nothing but honest. Where the rest of you will come up with some convoluted nonsense for why you would choose someone lynched, I've always simply said I don't really have a reason.

Is it though? Obviously many of the reads will be wrong, but without pressure and back and forth conversation and arguments, how else should we go about finding scum? Have a tea party? Mafia are unlikely to raise their hand and proclaim they're Mafia. And we don't even know how many power roles we have if any (and they're generally a supplement to any information we get during the day phase at most.) The entire game is about eliciting reactions and reading them and trying to discern the lies from the truth.

It's easier to find the truth in simple matters than in complex ones. The more complex you insist it must be, the harder you are making finding the truth.

Blast it, Taleroth, at the start of this page I thought your understanding led you to believe that sacrificing yourself for the town might be a good thing if it meant progress.
Then you start taunting about the Jester, which strikes me as one who is trying to scare us into not killing you.
Then you claim you don't want to die, contrary to your previous statement that you'd happily kill yourself.
You call this honesty? You call this going for simplicity? You are dancing around disrupting any theory I might have of who and what you are, you have confused me to no end, and I have had enough!

Seriously this is ridiculous and this feels like it's getting out of hand quickly. For now I'll leave my vote off and poke around more carefully.

Tell me this, what do you expect to achieve with your action? If you are town there is no way it could help town and it should be your primary concern.

Why are so many people sure there is jester? Do you have it somehow confirmed? Do you ahve more informations than I do? Each time someone acts bit strangely he is immediately labeled as Psychopath or Jester character or something similar. Why so? To not to have bother with his behaviour? Or for saying, "yes, he acts strange but I don't want to accuse him of something more serious because I know he is nothing more serious"?
I don't get it. We haven't had Psychopath, Jester or some similar role so far on this site. Yes, it's bound to happen someday but tahta doesn't mean we should expect it on every corner.

If Taleroth is playing the game properly, and not just being a dick, I can only read Jester for him. He is trying his hardest to get lynched. Not one post has been pro town, there are contradictions in every other post, the whole works.
