On an ooc note, I wish there was something in this forum that could filter a topic via an individual posting ie like a see posts by this person that you get on some other forums, would make the trawling through days a lot easier. Taking over a day in makes the events of day 1 a little blurry for me

There are still some people missing from the game today. I'm wondering if they went away for a couple of days and missed the night entirely. That would explain why they haven't posted at all yet.

This struck me as quite interesting. There's been no evidence of a doctor, nor a role claim for one, yet you seem to be stating that there definitely is one ...

That part of my statement was in reference to your posts 465 and 483 where you speculate if a doctor had protected someone from dieing.

"would we really" is more of a question or doubt than a firm statement.

Regarding the prod I am a little cautious of andy, he always seems to lurk in the background and then jump in with the majority.

Well...I have to say I'm a bit confused. All the combinations of different possible roles and which players might have them are making my head spin. I will say that, while it is possible both are telling the truth, it seems more likely that at least nmiller or GQ are lying. I'm going to go back through the thread and try to decide which one I find more scummy. For now, I'm still leaning nmiller, as he tried to protect Rodzaju more than GQ, who was pushing for a lynch. I'm just not sure why, particularly at that stage of the game, it would have made sense for a scum to do that.

So Interesting developments,

Nmillar claim puts some hestitation on my part to conside him scum, Originally I had that impression from getting on the popinjay vote and the defense of rodzaju but I can under stand that position with what rodzaju was claiming.

Now ghost's claim of jack of all trades is interesting too in light of nmillars claim of night action. I think ghost hasn't given much away with her actions, Chasing the easy lynch but gives up the information that her night powers have been used up, giving us a safe lynch. could be a double bluff but i unsure either way.


Now i think someone who is coming across all townie may actually be scummy!
Twilightbard was on the popinjay vote and as far as i can tell not on the rodzaju vote, elbaz has the obvious (rodzaju claim) going against him and violatorX hasn't given much away either but alludes to their being a doctor role....

This probably demonstrates my newbie status, but is it really all that likely that both nmiller and Ghost are telling the truth? I'm still having trouble seeing how that scenario would match what we've seen so far from the lynch scenes and results of the night actions.

Perhaps I was too subtle before. I know that GhostQlyph is telling the truth about her role. I don't know her alignment though.

Now that is interesting. I'm pretty sure a jack of all trades is a town role, so maybe it wasn't my role block that prevented a night kill. Looks like I'll have to consider other options.

If GhostQlyph isn't mafia, then it has to be elbaz, Robbeasy or TwilightBard, I think.

Eyeball - basically you're saying you've investigated Ghost and its confirmed what she said.

Right - theres two main scenarios in this game, of which we are very unsure - theres only one Mafia left, or theres two of the buggers.

We have nmillar claiming Town Roleblocking.
We have Ghost claiming Town Jack-of-all-trades.
We have eyeball not claiming , but confirming he already knew Ghost was JoaT, which is massive in terms of who is lying.??

All three telling the truth?? Like Elbaz said, is that likely - no, probably not.

Heres what I think - as Town, we have to go with the most likely case, and look for pointers as to who is most likely lying...

nmillar - post 500. ViolatorX speculated about there being a Doctor, yet you jumped down his throat straight away. The ONLY way there could be no nightkills the night before was if there was a doctor, IF you were all telling the truth. OR if Ghost was lying and was indeed roleblocked from killing.

But then we had Eyeball come in and confirm Ghosts claim of Jack of All Trades - what can we make of that Well, it certainly strengthens Ghosts position, and nmillar, after going after Ghost quite a lot, comes up with this gem...'im pretty sure Jack of all trades is a town role'.....erm actually no, JoaT can be anti-town as well as pro-town.

So where does it leave us?

Well - although Ghosts Claim was confirmed, I dont agree that makes her necessarily Town at all. The scenario I outlined in 486 still stands - lynch Ghost, and we find out the truth.

Lynch me then. I see no reason to hesitate, considering the strong position Town is in and the fact that I have no powers left.

If I'm mafia, then it's clear Robb would be your next target. Who's been backing me up the whole game thus far? I side with him more or less perfectly on everything -- including my own lynching. If this is a scheme then I'd FoS Robbeasy in your position. Eyeball is a good candidate too, knowing my role. I actually would like a claim now from him, but his softclaim leads me to believe that would weaken the town.

If there is a doctor out there: protect Eyeball. If his softclaim isn't rubbish we'll want him around. If it is rubbish we can deal with it through the standard channel of lynch the bastard.

For my part, however.

I want to see more pressure on TwilightBard. I have big suspicions. ViolatorX is both a newbie and someone I reacted to hastily, but his ill-led witch-hunt does make him a potential suspect as nmillar wisely mentions.

I'm not clear on what side nmillar belongs to, he keeps his cards pretty close. I don't like his continued skepticism of me, but it's not worth an OMGUS vote a bandwagon could hit (and I see multiple people who seem pleased by the possibility of a bandwagon vote on nmillar). I prefer leaving him alone for at least today, he's a potential town asset.

If there's four mafia, I'm still sold on the idea of an Elbaz-TwilightBard team. But if the suspicion of me continues to be so focused I may not have any time to convince others of such a possibility.

Put yourself in my position. You use your role block ability the same night that nobody dies. Would you not have drawn the same conclusion?

However, I am prepared to listen to other theories; hence my unvote earlier today.
