I'll quote an earlier post.
"But you consistently attempted to change my mind at every turn, despite you only being a suspect, not even the subject of my vote! Why would that matter? Simply because the only reason you have to worry about Orryyrro getting lynched is if he's mafia and you're mafia as well, because then if he gets the noose it'll be certain that one of my other suspects will too."
Breaking it down: Orryyrro was my vote. I named Damnation and nmillar as his collaborators. It was a reaction-fishing post, as stated previously, so I acted confident and used the only reasons I had available to me to make my case, that being the rooshandark8 votes.
Before Damnation replied, Orryyrro tried to reduce my concerns. It worked for a time, but I kept the pressure on him regardless so the reactions wouldn't be diminished.
When Damnation DID reply, it was with a ridiculous assertion that I was scum due to not simply avoiding bandwagons but -pointing them out- and changing my vote twice at very early stages. (From a random "joke vote" on bazilisek, to an ill-considered reaction-fishing vote on robbeasy with nothing to base it on, to Orryyrro.) At the end, he voted for me.
I saw this as a scummy reaction and started putting on the pressure. The passion in his posts made little sense, because I wasn't pushing to lynch -him- first day -- if he had kept quiet like nmillar, I'd have no suspicions of either him or Orryyrro at this point.
Eventually, he tried a very ill-considered post: "And if any whom you're so convinced of as scum turns out to be town at their death, what would you then do? Continue with your theories?"
As I mentioned in my follow-up post to that, this was a post that brought to light that there -was- a mafia collaboration going on, it's just that one of the people I had listed in the initial post were not part of it. It was a tiny thing and possibly a mistake, but given the weird and scummy reactions I had been getting, I milked it for all it was worth.
This went back and forth for awhile till Post #100, then it came to me that nmillar was not the one being voted for -- and neither was Damnation. Why was Damnation up in arms, then?
Orryyrro was the one I was pushing towards a lynch. Damnation just happened to overreact ridiculously, and in the process gave away that they were both mafia. To reproduce the quote at the beginning of this post:
"But you consistently attempted to change my mind at every turn, despite you only being a suspect, not even the subject of my vote! Why would that matter? Simply because the only reason you have to worry about Orryyrro getting lynched is if he's mafia and you're mafia as well, because then if he gets the noose it'll be certain that one of my other suspects will too."
Damnation was one of those other suspects. He only has any reason to worry about a vote on Orryyrro if he is mafia and Orryyrro is mafia too. A townie-lynch on Orryyrro would destroy my credibility. A mafia lynch on Orryyrro would enable me to nail Damnation to the wall. And if Damnation was not mafia, I don't think he'd have overreacted so hastily to my reaction-fishing post.
Hope that explains it well enough.
As for the new theory and roleclaim gambit by Damnation, it's bullshit. The above should clarify that well enough.
