Vitek, don't stop playing mafia games. :C You're a cool dude and maybe one day we can play other stuff too. :C

Please continue to play after this game. I don't find your play as jerkish/dickish at all. You make little jabs at others to get a reaction so you can gather information is what I have seen. Your play style is refreshing compared to someone like me who is all over the place it seems (at least most seem to think my play style is different every game so far lol).

HijacK: Maybe not a mistake, but I am fairly certain flub said something about a wife, at least in this game, and fairly soon in Day 1.

mrkgnao: I you get accepted to Berkeley and move to California, you might want to avoid jumping to the conclusion that just because one has a wife, one is male. If I'm not mistaken there are already 32 states where you might want to avoid this conclusion.
Yeah, I realized that right after I pressed the "Post my message" button.
However, for what it's worth, I was struck with a personal dilemma about gay marriage. While some couples don't take on any specific role, some do consider themselves either husband and wife, and I started questioning the psychological patterns of why so some gay couples take on the role of a gender they are not even attracted to. I began analyzing the possibility of bisexuality or transexuality and so on. Combine all of these with loud EDM music and a nice chill morning and it was definitely one of the more....different, in lack of a better word....walks to school I've had lately.

Vitek: Btw., the post I quoted shows your reads and you are even considering no.3 there after adalia and trent and there is no mention of me anywhere
I have never mentioned you in D1. I haven't mentioned a other people as top suspects as well, because back then and there none of you were one. You were "leaning to scum / scummy / this guy needs to be looked over". At the end of D1 adaliabooks and trentonlf were my top suspects and I would have voted for either of them. In the end that was adaliabooks which left me with trent as top pick with the current info and a few others that felt like scum, but not as much. D2 started with new info and new theories.

I only mentioned I share suspicions with Darko about you and you were all over me. I said this twice already - if you didn't come as hard, demanding evidence I would have left you for later, maybe even dropped you, but you insisted. And I went back. And I saw stuff from another perspective, because this time there was no adaliabooks to consider. Only you. I saw stuff that made you feel even scummier.

You know why I dropped trentonlf and focused on you? Because all I really had on him were mostly vibes, something off. Others say he doesn't play the same game as in #23, but to me (at least on D1) it looked pretty similar. Way too similar. And a few comments and phrases here and there that rub me the wrong way. But nothing too serious to try and build a case on.

But with you I noticed stuff that stuck. You may be right, I may be seeing what I want to see to make you look scum, but that doesn't change the fact that I see it and it feels bad. This is why you moved up, but that doesn't mean trentonlf received a get-out-of-jail-free card.

I'm heterosexual and i take on the role of a gender i am not attracted to. :-|

dedoporno: Really?!
Yep.
I read those posts several times already, but thanks for the link, I guess.
I think my reasoning is adequately explained in my post. Vitek unvoted Sage103082, not adalia. He actually made a case against adalia's claim. So between the post where you unvote and the post where you say we should probably lynch him, several things happened. Vitek's unvote, I pointed out adalia's fear to claim ship model (because Telika :D) was unfounded and even Sage popped up saying she suspected his claim.

As for flub's list, I already saw that most people don't want to pay too much attention to it, so I won't try to persuade you any longer, but I won't drop it.
As is your right.

LOL, I had to read that statement a few times to make sure I was reading it right :)

Exactly! But why do homosexual couples do it when it doesn't make as much sense. :D

How long until you figure this out? I have to agree with others, having someone not contributing at all is not good. My first game we had GDW and because of his lack of posting the game went completely different than it could have.

@yogs - I am not mad or pissed off. I was in fact defending myself and my actions. If you do not want me to be a wallflower or whatever you called me but you do not want me to respond to posts about myself.
As this is getting pretty ugly pretty fast, and since I don't think that saying "calm down" will help, I will just post a few corroborations of things raised by others (regardless of whether I suspect them or not), just to encourage people to "check their facts". With Krypsyn MIA, we might even be getting the original "fact checker" soon enough.

1) In post #828, point #3, trentonlf states that he was not the one that actively discussed his night PM, but rather always reacted to other people's questions. I believe trentonlf is correct there. That was my impression as well. I remember when I asked him about it the second time, I was already wary because I felt he was quite fed up with answering queries. That said, I still believe it might prove a useful discussion.

2) In post #827, dedoporno mentions that he waited for my post before voting. I can fully corroborate that. It was indeed mere minutes after I said I see no reason to change my vote on adalia that he said "OK then" and voted. I remember feeling some "unease" at this, similar to the speed with which yogsloth voted after me.

3) In post #838, Vitek points out that yogsloth's phrasing of Vitek's unvote was misleading. I also felt so. Vitek did not unvote adalia.

I know I didn't say anything new. Just trying to get things onto a more productive mode.
My intent was not to be ugly. I assure you I was never upset. It just seemed every time I posted yogosloth either read it wrong or ignored it. Seems me posting abrupt and rude seeming comments made him pay attention. That was my intent.

Vitek: If I was to vote someone right now, it would be Krypsyn, if only for his excessive lurkiness. I see him playing CK2 often, that's true, but it looks like he is just ignoring this thread altogether and some of his posts still doesn't fill me with trust even after explaining.
That's the best you've got right now? Lynch a lurker?

HijacK: Exactly! But why do homosexual couples do it when it doesn't make as much sense. :D
Well, for starters, gender itself doesn't make a lot of sense. I mean : really all the configurations exist, between gender swapping with or without attraction to the same or other sex, between gay, straight, and bi cross-dressers, the whole range of attitudes and preferences. Then, "taking on a genre" itself is not an univocal notion : which aspect of life, what activity or attitude, is gendered and how, in what context what "role" is taken for how long, in the eyes of whom, etc. Then, "taking on" the bodily attitudes (and tastes) that are assigned to our sex in a given society is seamless, but neither natural nor logical - it's simply invisibly consensual, but not more or less absurd than "taking on" attitudes that a given society doesn't assign to this or that sex. Then, many people "feel" they belong to the other sex, and endorse (consciously or not) the gendered attitude that are attached to it, and sometimes it also goes with the sexual preference (not even any apparent contradiction there). Then, people who are attracted to one sex aren't necessarily attracted to all the gendered attitudes that are supposedly related to it. And, of course, not as many homosexuals "take on" opposite gender roles as the stereotype implies.

Seriously, gender it a crazy can of bouncing worms, of which our society only makes a few visible (strengthening its the idea of normality through the "invisibilising" of its actual diversity). But humans, in practice, are so crazily varied on that sort of stuff that you'd be hard-pressed to even invent a "logic" in relation to which some behaviours would be "illogical"...

I was thinking of starting the replacement process tomorrow if Krypsyn doesn't answer by then.

I'll nod as if I understand what's going on this game. :D
