Sage: That's a valid question, Sage. I do not, however, feel that I targeted yogsloth as much as you suggest, nor did I follow through on many of my accusations.
Much of what I said (and in particular me accusing yog of not really 'getting the day started') where attempts do draw a reactions from him, and then interpret that reaction to see if I found him to be scummy or not. At the end of the day, I felt that his good points outweighed his bad points, and believed that he may be a mafia target because he seemed to me to be your typical 'random' first night kill. That is, a player who had contributed, but who hadn't gotten into any major arguments with anyone or drawn too much attention to himself.
Rob: My ships name was addressed in my claim. I have already stated that my ship's name is Bottomsup, therefore making me (CSPVG) the pilot.
Vitek: That wise man sure sounds a lot like you. Are you two related?
As for my reads, I've been mulling over them since your question to me. I would, however, like to preface what I am about to write by saying that these are my 'soft' reads. In other words, these reads are based on my impressions and memories of the past two days, and that I have not gone back and reread the thread in order to see if these are one-hundred-percent accurate to everyone's actions in the game. You may, then, be wondering why I post them at all. The answer to this is that I acknowledge that I have not been present for much of the day, and that I find it important to contribute in some way that you would all deem at least somewhat meaningful.
So here they are:
Tends to Town
Vitek, Yogsloth, Mrkgnao, and Krypsyn - I list all of these people together because I feel that they are town for the same reasons, and repeating myself over and over again would be useless.
Vitek, Yogsloth, Mrkgnao, and Krypsyn all lean towards being town in my eyes as they have contributed a lot (whatever I may say about their long posts) to the discussion, using analyses which range from the statistical to the numerical, and even include delving into old games to ferret out what they feel may be similar reactions/ styles of play.
dedoporno - He may not have posted things that were as long and detailed as the above posters, but he has been asking good question, prodding people into discussing things (myself included), and debating rigorously with others.
Tends to Neutral
Be aware that the this list is in descending order from 'most likely to be town' to 'is more likely to be scum'.
DarkoD13 - He has contributed frequently and gotten into arguments with other players, but I can't help but feel that there's something off about his play this game. Perhaps it could just be his already mentioned 'channeling' of other players, but I can't quite pin down his motivations or really get behind many of his suspicions.
Sage103082 - Again, she has contributed quite well to the game, especially during the latter half of this day, but there have been moments when she has said things and then almost immediately backed down. This may have to do with her stated aversion to, as she put it, shoving her opinion down other people's throats, but it could also be construed as a scum stating something, being called on it, and then withdrawing their statement so as not to draw attention to themselves.
trentonlf - trenton is the player I find hardest to read this game. He has posted quite frequently, but I can't remember any of what he has said. This is mainly due to the fact that many of his posts have (at least to my mind) harped on the same things, so that they all blended together into one long post. There is also the matter of trenton being the last player to jump on both wagon before the hammer, and this with the stated intention of first 'hearing from the others'.
Tends to Scum
Robbeasy - While my busing theory my seem absurd, I can't help but feel that there's something to it, especially after Rob's comments to adalia upon voting (which he still has not properly addressed). Another thing which has bothered me (and something which none of you have raised) is Rob's relatively lax contribution to the game (which I know is ironic coming from the likes of me). Thinking back, I cannot remember a single instance of Rob discussing anything but his primary target for that day. This may of course be construed as a town-like act, but when it is done to the exclusion of all else, I feel that it becomes scummy.
Hijack - He started out well enough, adapting his style of play from last game and contributing well enough to the town's effort to hunt scum. On the second day, however, I think we have see more of the old HijacK. We've gotten bullishness, his divisive methods of hunting scum, and open role fishing (which I cannot believe we did not make a bigger fuss out of).
Since we are coming close to the end of this day (although it may still be some days off), I think I am going to say Vote: HijacK for the above stated reasons.
