Well, I'm looking at this from all angles. Just because you've put out information doesn't necessarily make you Town. Just because you hold information back (Without lying), doesn't make you Mafia. You're in a great position because of what you've said...I just don't know what to say, so yes I'm a little suspect.

As far as what would make sense, we all believed Amok at first, so I'm not going to sit there and believe things too quickly.

Still looking at Telika...I just don't know what else to make of it, and nmillar telling the truth here is something we have to bank on instead of saying 'Let's lynch our protective role and THEN decide to lynch the guy he covered.'

I may not be posting tomorrow, I gotta be up in 7 hours to shovel more snow...if this keeps up I'm gonna have to drop out because I can't keep doing this and play...*Sighs* We'll see there.

Yup. Except for the fact that 1) jailer doesn't make him necessarily "our protective role", 2) the guy he "covered" is town, and 3) he has a history of : panicking at the mention of ski ; attempting half-arsed diversion right after having defined an investigation as scummy diversion ; hopping from silly reasons to actual votes ; claiming definitive convictions based on double standards and random-phase-quality arguments ; used a no kill as a univocal "proof" that the person he "protected" is guilty.

Just saying, it's not a blank state, there. Jail claim doesn't magically reset scumhints history. If you allow that little reminder.

Also just to note TwilightBard; the current discussion is more in regards to pazzer/flubbucket than T/N. Not that it is not worth having, but more to stay focused given the upcoming deadline and your mention of limited time to read.

Too much claiming, too much discussion about several different topics.

we're well into day two and I don't feel we've got anywhere at all so far. Mafia must be loving the way its going so far.

We've had Amok make several different claims, generally create confusion and dissension amongst the ranks, and with the Lynch All Liars rule he really should be gone. Instead we have since moved on to other claims from nmillar, from CSPVG, from Pazzer.

All of which can ONLY be WIFOM until we get some basic results back from Lynch. In other words - revealing your role at this point can only be counter productive.

The only legitmate reasons for revealing a power role - especially one potentially as powerful as some we've had mentioned - is when under the direct threat of lynch (L-1 or L-2), or if the reveal helps Town (such as the Town Miller role).

All other reveals can only create confusion and potential for muddying of the waters. We can try to dissect these claims all we like, but the essential fact is

WE WONT KNOW ANYTHING UNTIL WE HAVE LYNCH / NK DATA TO WORK WITH.

So - yes, I'm in definite favour of lynching one of the role claimees. Two under scrutiny have turned round and said 'ok lynch me - it will prove me town and you can go after the scum then' - not a strategy I'm over fond of, no Town player should want to be lynched, but it does lend credibility to their cause.

Pazzers claim is the oddest and least believable for me - a day role??

nmillars claim and certainty that becasue he blocked Telika, and there was no NK, therefore Telika must be Mafia - it has a logic. We dont have a deal to work with, and that claim has logic. BUT - CSPVG for me immediately muddied those waters with a claim out of the blue to back nmillar up, which casts huge doubt for me on the whole thing. I still think it stinks of a made up attack....but then there WAS the lack of NK...and Pazzers claim since my vote for nmillar has made me go

and - just looking back at the two days so far - whatever happened to simple lists of reads from everyone? We have very little time left, is it too much to ask that we all give a list of reads of other people? I havent got time to do one now as I'm at work, but will provide my list tonight. Everyone seems intent on talking over little points here and there, jumping from one thing to the next, and a fair few nonsense posts thrown in for good measure.

No it doesn't, it has no logic. Nmillar has claimed jailer, so it makes very little sense to assume that Telika must be the killer rather than the target. I mean hell, it might not be the reason for the lack of kill at all, so to jump to "Telika was the killer!" is pretty suspect.
