Well honestly it still looks to me like you were trying to get out of it. The first paragraph in the post in which you vote for pazzer kind of seems like you're saying "well there's no point in lynching me, because when I flip town pazzer will get away with it anyway".

I was thinking - is there a particular reason why we can not do the other way around? Lynch pazzer first and if he flips town then lynch flub?

The reason is that if Pazzer lies, we lose an undefined townie. If Flub lies, we lose a daycop. So, the stakes are asymetrical.

But this is further complicated by probabilities, as I feel there are more chances for Pazzer to be lying than Flubb. So, it's a difficult matter of weighing chances and consequences.

Hectic time, let's see what new things we have.

1) A jailer claim by nmillar, who says he blocked/protected Telika
2) A cop claim (though possibly insane) by CSPVG, who verifies that Telika was jailed
3) A day cop claim by Pazzer, saying no town result on flubbucket

Telika does give some interesting reasons why nmillar's jailer claim is believable, though that still doesn't say anything about anyone. It is possible that there are other reasons for lack of nightkill, including Telika being the target himself.

I find Pazzer's claim much more interesting though. Especially since if it's a day ability, he should have 2 results for us, yet he only shared one with us. Curious as to why.

I had interpreted "been good or bad" as "have had town- or mafia- activity that night". Now if it's simply a cop thing, this raises two questions :

1) Why assume naive/deranged ? Naive/deranged would give results, even if false. As I understood he couldn't even investigate. So, again, why the feeling of a naive/deranged cop ?

2) There would be two cops in this game ? CSPVG and Pazzer ? And both would have claimed on day 2 ?

You'll have to ask CSPVG about that. Probably because he isn't the Inspector, but has inspector like abilities. Didn't we have a previous game with a naive cop as well?

Another reason to assume one of them deranged, or one of them lying. Or one lying and one insane! Why did I come to this chalet again?

No reason we can't, but if paz is telling the truth and flub is 'not town' then lynching paz first basically means that flub succeeded in taking a useful town role with him. That would be a pretty impressive feat for copped scum to manage and pretty stupid and depressing for us to have fallen for. I just get this feeling from Flub's posts that his offer of self sacrifice was a bluff to win us over and that he's trying to get paz lynched first, knowing that even though he'll be lynched the next day he will have taken a cop with him.

Of course, paz has a history of falseclaiming, right? But still, I can't see the motive.

The only one i see is to multiply the controversies and split the votes for another nolynch. A strategy that would require some hit-and-run posting to add confusin without any chance for clarification. Hence the "fire-and-forget" expression I used earlier.

Unlike Flub, I do not believe (or see yet how) Pazzer could survive a Flub townflip.
