Telika: I don't even see why I was not voting amok anymore.
avatar
Vitek: That's not much of an answer. :-p

I asked because RB said I haven't explained my reason and it's only because he was scummy or because I don't trust him. So I wanted to know if other people share his opinion.
I did not. He seemed to me to be to much of a wheatervane, and I got the feeling from you that you thought so too... He vent to fast out after the 2 "strange" cases, instead of finding the "good" cases.

I am also perplexed why he did not change his vote to me, to be honest. I think I got 6 votes, his would have been #7 (if I counted correctly.) Not that I am complaining, mind :)

Vitek: Can we at least know why he was modkilled?

Has there even be ATTEMPTS AT REPLACEMENT ?

---

About Red_Baron, I don't know. Indeed, being hellbent on lynching Amok, and not contributing to it is weird. I don't know what is scummier between lynching the neutral and not lynching him, but the contradiction is strange. Until when could one have the excuse of waiting for Zchinque to hammer ? I know that, at the deadline, I was deliberately not hammering Amok, in hope for some sniffing result. I kinda regret it now, but still, I wonder who amongst us made the deliberate choice to not hammer Amok, and yeah, why someone like Red_baron wouldn't. But for day1 reasons to suspect him, i'd need a re-read. For now, my scumlist is :

Nmillar, because of ski hyperreaction (mostly, was already suspect for lurk and randomish scumlisting).

Amok, because his "no can do" sniffing is not very convincing in my eyes, especially as it's mostly what spared him..

Other suspicions towards Twilightbard, because of clue sharing right after someone had miscalculated the lynch of the potential sniffer. "Frances" maybe too, if Twilightbard was scummily building an alibi for her. Robbeasy for the seemingly irrelevant and uncheckable clue. But, hm, clue-based suspicions are awkward, as their discussion may be now limited.

I'm waiting for Red_Baron's answers. Anyway, typing from mobile, far from notes. Frustrated about the Zchinque thing. No kill is good (even though I secretely hoped for an amok kill, in order to go "aha false clues"), what else to say about it ? Whoever used a night ability better include this to their reads (townising when protecting, scummizing when blocking) and continue their line of reasoning if they didn't select their target randomly....

Suspect this was pre-planned or being the hammer was a role requirement.

Telika: Nmillar, because of ski hyperreaction (mostly, was already suspect for lurk and randomish scumlisting).
Nobody even noticed I was lurking until I pointed it out myself!
avatar
nmillar: I'm concerned that none of the people who have posted since the start of Day 2 have expressed any concern at (or indeed mentioned) the lack of a night kill?
I just assumed it was my sheer awesomeness that froze the scum on their tracks. Maybe now they will be willing to head towards the scummy corner?
Cards on the table.

I have no clue sniffing ability, neither am I neutral nor am I a dog. As far as I know, there are no animals in this game. (Except Flub - now that's what I call a fox)

I just wanted to play around with the clues, see what would happen and if some people would make something out of it, or be extra afraid of showing clues.

It is for this reason I am very curious about Rob's aniseed clue, as there is no reason to have a clue which potentially indicates a dog which is non existent.

Other than that, I had a curious thing happen to me in the night which left me very puzzled. I wonder if any of the others had something strange in the night also.
I have to be honest - I thought he HAD been lynched, miscount, then when next got chance to look at thread, night had fallen...
So nothing's changed except for amok admitting he was lying all along. I had a feeling his clue obsession was this game's version of singing...
Vote amok
@amok: It would be best to say everything you have to say as soon as possible.

(I hope we'll at least find out what that Zchinque hammer thing was all about once the game is over)
Vote Amok

Lynch all Liars applies here methinks.

As to my clue - thats what it is. I don't know anything about the presence of a dog or otherwise, but that is my clue.

The fact you are now trying to turn this around and say' yay - I'm not a dog, therefore Robbeasys clue is suspect!' just screams scum.
JOESAPPHIRE YOU HAVE FAILED US. I was so grateful for a dog role to be included, after my failure to include a cat role in the previous game.

Also, how does this impact the count of players and genders. JMich, you've never been sufficiently clear about what your list includes or not (in terms of living and dead NPCs, for instance).

Anyway, we won't get more info from Amok, as any claim he'd make now (name, role, gender, affiliation) would seem just temporary. The lynch is unavoidable. Very bad play if town, very bad play if mafia. Very good falseclaim, though, I wish it had been true (and it did sound Joe-ish enough for that).

I'll vote Amok, I see no other way to have his role clarified. Even if I try the opposite perspective (if town, became an easy target for mafia) I find it too difficult to continue on the bet that "next claim is probaby true".

Still waiting for all players to have awakened, becore officialising the vote, in case there is info to be shared before the night. As I suspect the wagon will be fast, and could easily short-circuit any interesting input...

Well, you have to admit that it is a bit of a weird coincidence if he's not a dog. But I'll agree with you that he's not trustworthy at all at this point.
Before keeping on with this discussion based upon the fact that Vitek once again did not read what I wrote....allow me to quote and there you have the reason I didn't hammer amok.. I was already voting for him!

Anyway, deadline drawing close and Zchinque is not even close to a lynch or a claim so in the interest of avoiding a no lynch: unvote vote amok (though of the ones playing Telika might be able to convince for another target as mentioned earlier, however I doubt we have the time so of the options I consider him the best target - even if I mostly believe his claim). -snip-.
In regards to the others, let me once again tell you: Listen when someone makes a good argument.... like say lynching amok...

amok: Cards on the table.

Good, now lets lynch him..this time for an even more simple reason, he lied.

vote amok again btw... and honestly we should just note down any player (likely none will be that stupid without a really really good argument) defending him and lynch them - the fact that he has broken the most simple rule for town: NEVER LIE - makes it imperative to lynch him.

Yes, so very perplexing that people can't read.. :)

Rule for now: Don't trust when vitek claims something about others ;) Guess the mobile is the reason you didn't notice.

Yea, unless say it was candy for humans... which it is. Aniseed balls are just candy.

See it's quite easy. Why would you hide this from us?
And why are you hiding his flip?

OK. Thanks.

I did read. Stuff saying I didn't over and over somewhere. :-/
I went through the end of day twice to see who voted who.
The other thing is I can't apparently read properly. Can't and don't are different things though. :-p

That's why votes shouldn't be burried in the middle of text and why tehre should be end day votecount.

@amok; Seriously? Geez, why?
@everyone; why would scum do it and then admit it?

I must say that JMich's clue is still correct.

Remove the deceased from the list, and make Frances male. Leaves room for 1 female.
