I'm more concerned that the discussion about clues, many of them that appear to be well, off, is hampering actual scum hunting.

My view on things is you can't confuse without giving information out, thus throwing people into a bit of a disarray. It sorta describes what he did and it focused us back on the topic of clues when we don't have a lot of time remaining to scumhunt for day 1.

But this is about the general thoughts. He's gotta be telling the truth because he came out the way he is. Exactly like the Town Miller that Rob had on Game 5. I think the comment I was trying to make was lost because I didn't type town...

Vote Amok

I'm doubtful about Amok's role, I think something about that doesn't ring true, a clue cop as a neutral seems really odd, and frankly his play has been concerning to me with the focus on getting him the clues. And at this point I don't see the harm about putting mine forth...wait, has anyone talked to Joe about sharing our clues directly? I just realized I never thought to ask.

Therefore, without information we will have no confusion. Most excellent logic. Keep the information hidden because it will scare those of us too pretty to process it properly.

His "focus" on clues started way before we were given a deadline. So I find your argument shallow at best. If you want to vote amok, then you will. However, your reasons regarding disarray and confusion could also be applied to others stifling the flow of information.

I think this must have been one of the longest first days to a mafia game that I've ever taken part in.

As such, I've got a lot to take in and consider. After thinking about various possibilities, I've become very confused.

Although amok has acted in a somewhat suspect manner, my gut feeling on him is that his heart is essentially in the right place. I know that's not much evidence to go on, but for the time being, I can't bring myself to vote for him.

I'd also previously said that my argument with Red_Baron had left me feeling like I'd been having your typical day one townie vs. townie fight, but now I'm not so sure what to feel about RB. I'm left with an odd sense of unease about the whole thing, which leads me to say Vote Red_Baron.

That being said, I'll vote amok closer to the deadline if he's the only viable lynch. I won't like it, but last game's day one no-lynch was very detrimental to town, and I'd like to avoid that.

I'm also not terribly happy with QuadrAlien, nmillar and Zchinque for their lurking.

It does strike me as odd that you would sniff this clue first when there are other clues that seem to be a lot clearer about the murder - Flubs for a start!.

Do you think that mafia would really so much insist on lynching neutrals (supposed or not) on Day 1 ? Compared with what they would get with a town mislynch ?

What is the assumed motivation ? The belief in Amok's sniffing ability ?

Doing a quick pass to see if I have to linch someone, I see that my vote is not critical as of yet so I'll keep it as it is. I can't be sure I'll be around for a change later, but I'm sure it will work out.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be around closer to the deadline, so I think I'll have to say Unvote Red_Baron and Vote amok.

An easy lynch? You are aware that my lynch targets are either amok or Zchinque. One who gained a lot of attention after I went for him, not before - thus I wouldn't really call it an easy lynch target. And in regards to Zchinque; an easy target? Really? And also.. I AM NOT HUNTING NEUTRALS WITH ABILITIES!, I am going for those least likely to be town given what we currently know. The result assuming amok's claim is 100% accurate might be a lynched neutral with ability, but thats an entirely different thing.
And why exactly would I be doing this argument since it seems to earn me a lot of attention from those apparently unwilling to see anything other than a scum act? So my brilliant master plan according to you is that I propose a lynch of two targets and then make a case against them, on day one - not with an argument that would allow me to just nod and wave it away (like you shortly did with mine), but instead going out and specifically stating why I and that why being (apparently) somewhat controversial given the amount of reactions from it? Oh and the plan? Going for the ones we given current claims and fact know to be the least likely town - Yea I see that its a true scum plan at work right there.

Anyway, deadline drawing close and Zchinque is not even close to a lynch or a claim so in the interest of avoiding a no lynch: unvote vote amok (though of the ones playing Telika might be able to convince for another target as mentioned earlier, however I doubt we have the time so of the options I consider him the best target - even if I mostly believe his claim).

Btw: I wouldn't advice you to use your gut feeling for anything if I am the target you conclude when confused.
