There have been more confusing games. The one we had where other people's usernames were the character names springs to mind immediately. :P
A joe game....stand by for twists turns and all sorts of wierd and wonderful happenings..i hope!!

Vote nmillar - missed ya bud!

And - not sure with all these likes / dislikes coming out so quick, but then again we are only allowed day one to disclose them!

I'll be around today and tomorrow, but xmas day / boxing day and beyond that for a few days may be patchy....hopefully Joe will make allowances ..
*Adjusts tie*

Well, I think you all have missed the fact that there is a policeman mentioned, perhaps he is not accounted for in the names given above. That, or I've misread everything in a haze of Christmas cheer( it's a rather thick haze, made of crisps and swimming pools and relatives, it's difficult to escape).

Further more, looking at those gathered in this room, I must say that I'm heartened to see Frances Page, but( and this is just between us) I'd like that Harriet Franks women to stay away from me. I don't care for her.

Off topic: I most likely will not be around tomorrow or Christmas day, but I'll most certainly be able to post after that. I hope you are all well, and that you are all having a good time.

I should clarify, officer, that the instance here referred to was most amusing! Once I've given my statement and we achieve some conclusion to all this business I would love to tell you all about it.
I did not ask for this.

*shakes fist at joe*
So:

Red_Baron - does not seem to like the deceased BERNIE VON MORIZ and does not like Mr Hoarly, but likes Mrs Eggars. Thinks the murder was a lovers quarrel (strange since it seems to be 3 killers)

JMich - does not like Prudence Eggars, but likes Christopher Sedgeworthy.

nmillar - does not like Rosemary Pollit, but likes Prudence Eggars

CSPVG - does not like Harriet Franks, but likes Frances Page

Personally I do not know anyone of you enough to dislike you (yet), but I liked the deceased BERNIE VON MORIZ.

Do we compare notes on the clues? And while this is fun and reminds me about those logical puzzles, but sure where it brings us.
by the way:

amok: Dearest moderator, could we then have a vote count please?
So Zchinque is really playing? Now I am confused too.

I am not sure I am confortable with all those likes/dislikes flying around. Could be TMI.
After all, I think we should all be friends.

Maybe except those we are going to lynch. But even that could be carried out in friendly manner, right?

Not quite my dear, I didn't get to know our late instructor enough to judge him - but it is a common thing for those instructors to be favored by the fairer sex - however I meant only scorn those females who fling themselves at any man, and are likely to act unreasonable if rejected. I find it highly unlikely that a man would have any interest furthering the demise of the instructor.

Really??

And if this unlikely male found out his female interest had flung herself at the instructor in order to curry his favor, might that give him motive to act .....unreasonable??

Don't know why men keep tolerating these young sluts nowadays anyhow...all they do is use themselves up in foolish ventures which end up coming to naught.

we should be friends, yes, but I am more interested in finding the 3 killers. If this is a logical puzzle, then the more information we have the better, right?

If we figure out who the killers are from the clues and the likes/dislikes, then we also figure out who the mafia are and can string them up one by one... in a friendly manner.
Well, after further thought, I think there is no harm whatsoever in disclosing the Likes and Dislikes.

My thinking is that we have no way of knowing the mechanics behind it (if any), and with the admonition that we are not allowed to mention them after day 1, it seems sensible if everyone coughed up, now that some have already revealed theirs...

so, Rosemary Pollit is a wonderful lady, whereas Peter Browning is a despicable human being...

oh and unvote nmillar
I'm slightly nervous about some of my information, given CSPVG's statement about his name being police-involved, but given saying that's enough to give the important bit away in my opinion, I'll carry on anyway - I admire the Inspector, you see.

I'm even more nervous about the one I dislike, as Flubbucket appears to be already claiming to be Edie Delaney.

Should we reveal the nature of the clues as well? It seems to me that Red_Baron might have a similar clue to my own, though he seems to be making further assumptions at an alarming rate if this were to be the case.
I request that once we decide upon a lynch, I get to hammer.

Seems so. I'm somewhat confuddled too.

Seconded. We're 15 players, and the flavour heavily suggests a three-man scum team. So we're probably looking at some anti-town neutrals or town with additional win conditions. Seeing as we're only allowed to talk about it today, which I find an odd restriction, we should discuss it, but I wish that had happened before people started dumping role info.
