Hmm, my reason for voting Amok is because of (what I see as) his manipulation of the votes about revealing our info.

I don't think Amok's claim not to be in the list makes him more likely to be scum, the set up wouldn't just identify scum for us like that with something so conspicuous. So I'm torn.

There is a very good reason why I am not on any lists, and it is also linked to why I am a bit eager to get the clues... not sure how much to say about it without role-claiming.

The only thing I can say so far is that JMich's clue is actually related to my role, and I was given that I loose if scum wins, and I win if town wins (for some reasons which later will become obvious.)

Amok is high on my gut-level scumlist because of strategy disagreements and weirdness that can easily conceal mafia specificity, and in my urge of sniffing out a suspect I could have voted for him.

But, intellectually, coldly, and regretfully, I don't really think he's scum. His excuses are coherent, his strange status cannot be univocally scum as we know there would be mafiosi having more normal status, and I actually expect the mafia to be

1) on the list (so that likes/dislikes may involve them, or else what's the point)

2) looking quite normal (playing it a bit more neutral, gameplay-wise, and, profile-wise, requiring hint/clue investigation to be discovered, in an agathachristiesque "ooh i never expected good doctor znogarströl")

Plus, I don't expect Zchinque (who shares the out-of-list status) to be scum, because I kinda secretely expect him to be some sort of half-player accomplice of Joe, due of the way he got involved in the game. I may be completely wrong, but I won't be surprised by some dramatic Zchinque twist that Joe wouldn't afford with a playing player. Maybe it's not nice to express this suspicion here, but it impacts my read a bit.

game is weird and slow and feels incomplete due to partial participation and some weird impression of reluctancy from mod and players and what the hell nobody was forced to register or to host were they

anyway, my point is, with a deadline looming, i'll have to free some time for an actual scumhunt reread, and just give up on my hopes of getting systematic answers to my questions. But I'll probably end up voting for players on which I'll have the most "incomplete" reads...

Actually mostly the clue part.

But my point with the whole lets lynch him or for instance Zchinque is that they (amok being the one most apart currently) stand out from the rest with differences not apparently shared by others.

Thus I do not suggest amok to be scum, in fact it appears from his posts, especially the latest that he hints at being neutral or perhaps the officer? being talked to however much sense that makes - but that is not the point. I suggest lynching him to get information we know is accurate. So I am not going scum hunting on day one, I am going information hunting on day one in order to be able to actually scum hunt on day to.

I could be convinced for another, but amok appears to be the best bet. Hope that cleared some confusion as to my intentions.
