Hard to say. I find Vitek's unwillingness to consider that Joe may have been blocked by town suspect, which does make me think he wants to solidify Joe as town. I did ask him quite a few times, hoping for a "It is possible, but unlikely" answer, that I don't recall getting. So that does make me wonder if there is something else going on.
Now, if Vitek is a townie, would he be trying to convince us so hard that Joe is to be left alone? Or would he have him as less likely to be scum, but still possible?
On the other hand, if Vitek is scum, would that make Joe scum as well? Vitek could be hoping to protect a scumbuddy, or he could be trying to pass himself as townier, by pointing out one of the townies as town.
If he hadn't been jailed, I would consider the possibility that Vitek had an investigative role that showed him Joe's affiliation (which wouldn't tell him anything about affiliation of blocker), or the fact that I did visit Joe, but Vitek couldn't do any night action.
Also, if both Vitek and Joe are scum, that does beg the question of "Who did the kill". Unless Vitek and the jailer are both scum and faking it, which I do doubt.
So, 5 people that we know what they were doing this night, 5 people we don't. One of the 5 unknowns is a killer. Question is, which one?

I can accept three alleged claims of actions (according to this mess I have) but not five. Help me understand.

I was? You hurt my feelings. :'-(
But at least you are not involved in it, so it's easier for you to ignore it.
@572; I was trying to convince town hard that Joe is to be left alone? What do you consider hard? You are the one who keeps bringing up that one sentence where I haven't cleared definitely cleared Joe as you still claim.
In the last game you tried to convince me that role cop doesn't mean scum and vigilante doesn't mean town confirmation, yet it did and you only tried to save your skin. How does what you keep fighting over here differs from it?
SirPrimalform: I'm getting completely lost in the ViMich argument and have mostly stopped reading it because it's making my head hurt.
Me too. :-) But at least you are not involved in it, so it's easier for you to ignore it.

I assume the answer "Because this time I'm town" isn't satisfactory ;)
I found an irregularity with your posts, and I did clench my jaws around that bone. Since no one else provided any discussion, we did get on each others nerves (again).

JMich: First block choice was Joe, since I didn't like him trying to set up a different lynch during the ending of Day 1. More or less what Robbeasy complained about in post #402.
Second block choice was you (CSPVG). Reasons why I was suspecting you can be found in quite a few of my posts during day 1.
But didn't you do two "block" actions?? That to me eliminates one player from the equation.Second block choice was you (CSPVG). Reasons why I was suspecting you can be found in quite a few of my posts during day 1.

I blocked Joe (2 people accounted for, me and Joe). CSPVG motivated me (1 more person accounted for)
I blocked CSPVG (no new people accounted for)
Vitek was jailed (2 more people accounted, total of 5).

My blocker is unknown, so there is no one to rule out for kill.
Also maybe it is possible that motivation of mafia allows them to take action and kill. ;-)

For example, JMich could be a mafia blocker. This means that if this is the case he could have blocked someone, then get the boost, then block second target and he could still do the night kill.
This sounds like to much smoke and mirrors for my liking.

JMich: Double action and night kill. Overkill, wouldn't you say? Opening and closing bold tags that previous post left open, ignore them.
You know this better than me...

Wut? So far I haven't played in a game where mafia were allowed to both do their actions and night kill. Were you able to do that in the last game? I wasn't able to do that in game #16.
