That night, as the Mavri Petalouda crosses a calm stretch of water with no other ship in view, the passengers are allowed out of the hold, to stretch their legs and breathe some fresh air. The tension drops, as, under the peaceful sky, aggressivity makes way for avoidance, and thoughts turn to the horizon and beyond. Suddenly everything seems more easy and more promising, and these meaningless disputes seem futile. The ship is still advancing towards a land of opportunities, leaving far behind a history of drama and violence. The reasons to expect more trouble slowly dissolve.

Thus ends day 1. Players may submit their night actions now. Night 1 is beginning, and will end on wednesday 27th at noon (GMT).

No more posting in the meantime.

Well, we should have tried to reach some sort of agreement yesterday, not 2 hours before the deadline.

Slightly off-topic:
Funny thing is I actually woke up in time to see if there were any developments, only to find out that the usb drive I've been relying on for the last month (since I've been away from home and I had stored my game keys, passwords, firefox portable and some useful links on it) had stopped working. Awesome.

The night was calm, and everyone was enjoying a few hours of fresh air on the deck. The soothing sight of the immense black sea glittering under the moonlight was keeping most thoughts away from any of the concerns that had fueled the tense discussions in the hold.

A group of migrants was chatting on the side of the ship, some of them leaning on the wall, others at the rail, when a door opened a few meters away, letting through a beam of light and a running crewmember. He sprinted directly towards the perplexed travellers, as the light behind him went off, and two bright loud flashes pierced the shadow. Two bubbles of blood exploded on his chest, and he fell down on the deck, his mouth opened on words that couldn't find their way out. Someone pointed at a dark shape that quickly disappeared back Inside, while others attempted to help the agonising crewmember - in vain.

A bewildered crowd quickly gathered around the corpse, soon dispersed by the ship's crew. The agitated migrants were brought back to the hold, and left there to their spéculations, sharing testimonies and speculations.

The night ended, the sun rised over a deserted deck. The ship was continuing its journey.

And there we are.

Well.... that was a turn of events that did not help me much at all... I now only knows that my #3 suspect was wrong. sorry. Other than that... not sure if this has been anything else than a big loss.

I agree this is a big loss of a powerful role. I don't have my notes with me because I'm out of town. However I don't recall any specific interaction which raised my suspicion last day.

Yay, you are all scum.
Complaining about how badly night went is common scum tell.
So it's 4 players mafia team in game with 11 people. Intriguing...
Who wants to die first? :-)

I looked over Quadr's posts.
Recently he didn't want to lynch Joe for his weird claim stuff, while he probably disliked other things about him. He voted SirPrimalform for fence-sitting and am not sure if he only discussed CSPVG or disliked him. And there is this post about me, flub, Darko and SPF.
That's everything interesting from Quadr. Seriously, he made 7 posts this game and only 4 of them were related to game.
He was almost certainly killed because there is no connection with anyone and little to gain from his flip, but at least we know his posts were honest now. If only there was more of them.

Also, noon deadlines are horrible. :-/ Doubly so for someone who barely reads mod posts and is taken by surprise when they happen. :-)
