flubbucket: ... Krypsyn channeling Dr. Seuss.
Yeah, it did have that vibe to it, I admit.

I still like my vote where it stands though; something about JMich just pings my scumdar. I think it is just how he posts in general; he tends to ping it in EVERY game I play with him, for some reason (similar, but in a different way, to how Telika always pings it). This I definitely do not like. Not sure what to make of everything else yet.
Well, this does seem like proof that Z does at least have more of a traditional mod presence, but I'm not sure what to make of it right now either. Ghosts posts...something there speaks to me, but I'm not sure if I'm right about it or not. Not much to read yet, but I'm gonna look a bit more closely.
I still think SirPrimalform is trying to hard to achieve something... I do not know what, but it seems suspicious. I stay with my vote.

Apathy for the win! Nurse, give me more drugs, I am starting to feel something.

I like science and things that roar. I don't like lockboxes, they hide the hugs and giggles.

Are you afraid Jack might jump out if youwind the crank too far? I don't like Jack either, but...

SirPrimalform just seems to be testing out the rules of the game, as is common in many games that I have played. I don't read much more into it.
Votecount!

Zchinque - 3 - SirPrimalform, JoeSapphire, GhostQlyph
flubbucket - 2 - CSPVG, Damnation
GhostQlyph - 2 - TwilightBard, Lifthrasil,
JMich - 1 - Krypsyn
SirPrimalform - 1 - amok
JoeSapphire - 1 - flubbucket

Not voting - 2 - QuadrAlien, JMich

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.

No mistakes this time, I hope

hm??

Influenza: 'I want answers'
Sorry Bucket! I thought you were just being dramatic.

I'm anticipating that some of the roles aren't actually going to do what they say they're going to do (hence "don't trust yourself").

Hmm, somehow I misread this as "I do not appreciate..." before so read my previous post in that context.

Well I would quite like to try lynching Zchinque at some point, but that is part of the testing. I want to find out what happens!

Why only partial answers?? Are you afraid to commit to a stand on how to proceed?? Are you going to do any scum hunting this game or is there really no point??

I'll admit I'm a little intrigued, but only for the comedy aspect of it.

I would actually prefer looking for scum. Lynching the Mod can result in nothing happening or at best satisfy someone's special win con. It seems to me a subterfuge leading us away from anything constructive....like why won't Joe actually give any straight answers to my questions??
avatar
Lifthrasil: OK. Let's have a look at helpful vs. non-helpful attempts so far. Considering that we are in an asylum, the test if one can vote for the mod makes sense in a twisted way. So I'm going to put that as helpful information, which SPF acquired. Same goes for the test that Quadralien did. Interesting to know that non-participants are not voteable. (which combined with the first result means that the mod is considered a participant by the mod).
But all in all I don't think lynching the mod will actually be helpful. On the contrary. That somehow sounds like a dangerous idea. So the people increasing the vote-count on Zchinque beyond the 'testing if it is possible' stage might be out for no good. I.e. Joe and Ghost. Ghost even more so because he raised the mod on position 1 of the vote count. --> 1 point of suspicion.
And in post 49 he openly calls for the destruction of all mods - but only evil profits from anarchy and chaos. --> +1 point of suspicion.
And it goes on: he even promotes voting every day like day 1 - but everyone knows that day 1 is the hardest day for town because there is nothing to go on. Someone who wishes that every day will be as confusing as day 1 can't be up to any good. --> +1 point of suspicion.

So at the moment GhostQlyph is the first one who actually starts to look suspicious to me. Therefore unvote JMich and
vote GhostQlyph
MONSTROSITY
HERETIC
CO-CONSPIRATOR OF THE HEAVENLY MANIPULATORS

You will doom us all
Doom everyone

LUNATIC
MISANTHROPE

But we must fight them
Fight the masters
Fight the MONSTERS

Spare you spare you spare you
You'll learn.

Has Joe EVER given a straight answer before? I know he didn't last game, trying to remember if he's done so before.

PREDICTABLE

Don't fall into the trap

The trap of predictability

Subtle.

If you want to accuse someone of something then you should come right out and accuse them.

What do you think of SapphireJoe thus far??
Hmm. Knowing the Mod appears to be a vote target is interesting, but as others have now said, I'm not entirely sure what to do with that knowledge. (Of course, I still can't be totally certain that he's not just done this to screw with us, but it seems to be what he's implying if he's playing at least reasonably fair. Hard to say.)

It's slowly occurring to me that I've never been in a game with GhostQlyph as another player (as opposed to a mod) before, so I'm not entirely sure how to react to quite this much all-caps at this point. :)

And waste a day's vote? That doesn't sound sensible. Neglecting the hunt for scum just out of curiosity does not seem very helpful. But perhaps you are just trying to achieve a 'no-lynch' in effect, by trying to get us to lynch the mod?

this is something in the same lines of what I have been thinking....
