EnsembleofShaows was the name I saw for the sender. I have no idea who that is. I'll post a screenshot if you guys want me to as proof. I know it seems odd that I got this.

Well, it's not Z directly, it's not a player that I can see, and if it is then THEY'RE the ones that are breaking the rules in that regard. I'll admit that I was probably a bit rash but I also thought that the sooner I did it after posting about it, the less headaches.I'd.have.

I'm now reading through the thread and constructing this post as I do so.

GhostQlyph makes some interesting points about Amok and the "maybe there isn't a town faction" speculation. I'll have to go back and re-read those bits.

Yes, it probably is actually a bad idea to try and use night actions on the mod. It hadn't occurred to me at the time, but if something goes wrong we probably won't have a way of trying to find out who tried what.

Regarding the lying thing, I'm not sure we can be sure of this interpretation of the post restriction. It may well be that they're required to lie all the time, but it they might just be required to lie once a day or required to lie only about specific details of their role (which seems oddly familiar somehow >_>).

@amok regarding the "the mod won't be able to post any more" theory:

We have had mod posts from Zchinque and at at least one seemingly fake mod post. I think that was a post from Zchinque the player not Zchinque the mod, and it's Zchinque the player who might be able to be lynched.

hmm.... I see what you mean. In that case, if the player Zchinque (whom may belong to any faction) is lynched, we are left with the true neutral mod Zchinque. That makes more sense, actually.

So, until I think about this a bit deeper and get some more information:
