Lifthrasil: And waste a day's vote? That doesn't sound sensible. Neglecting the hunt for scum just out of curiosity does not seem very helpful. But perhaps you are just trying to achieve a 'no-lynch' in effect, by trying to get us to lynch the mod?

amok: this is something in the same lines of what I have been thinking....
THE SCUM IS THE MOD

DESTROY ALL MODS

We have determined the mod is a viable vote target, yes?

I'm curious as to how you know it would be a waste, it may well be that lynching the mod is something we need to do to win. We won't know unless we try.

I'm not sure what makes you think lynching the mod would be more of a waste than lynching someone else at random, which is what today's lynch would most likely be. It's pretty hard to scumhunt when there isn't anything to go on. As far as I'm concerned, if Zchinque is lynchable it's because it's part of the setup. Now it might be there's a lyncher and I'm doing their job for them, or it could be he's part of the scum team (perhaps the staff of the asylum?).

One option is missing - that you are part of the above mentioned staff, knowing that lynching the mod will end the game in your favour (maybe even making you the next mod), making everything else a smokescreen....

Wow, now I see why you're in this asylum, that's pretty out there. ;)
No we haven't and you can read the below for clarification.

Game-specific rules

1. Don't trust me.

Trolled by the mod, or are we being trolled by SirPrimalform??

Is your win con to get the mod lynched there Primal old bean??

Yes, it's entirely possible that Zchinque is lying to us in this instance. I already suggested as much earlier. :P
I have asked soooo many questions and have been soooo ignored.

I'm on the verge of kicking names and taking..................well you know what I mean.

off course I trust you, but the voices in my head whispers "well, what else could he say? it is not like he is going to admit his guilt"
Sorry I haven't been contributing more; I awoke this morning to find that my computer would not boot up( yay).

I am wondering about a few things, though:

1) SPF has been the most vocal about lynching the moderator. It strikes me that Joe and GhostQlyph hopped onto the lynch-the-mod-wagon with little to no explanation, and have just been quietly sitting there for awhile.

2) I'm not at all certain what to make of GhostQlyph's comments. They seem to me to be roleplay posts, as he/she certainly didn't post this way in game #6( given that he/she was the mod). I'm not entirely happy with Ghost's posts, so I'm going to say Unvote: flubbucket and Vote: GhostQlyph. Hopefully I can prod you into making a little more sense.

3) Not to be rude, Zchinque, but are we to get flavour at some point? I only inquire as I find fluff posts, and the other player's reactions to them, a little be helpful while navigating the frustrating waters of day 1 mafia play.

Right, right. I am forgetful and/or don't enjoy writing flavour. I'll have something up later tonight. Thanks for reminding me.

Prove that the mod is scum, and then he's a target worth llynching, otherwise he's a wasted target because we're supposed to be scumhunting, not modhunting.

flubbucket: Subtle.

If you want to accuse someone of something then you should come right out and accuse them.

What do you think of SapphireJoe thus far??
Nah, mostly me making a joke at Joe's expense/ :P
Something completely different: in the last mafia game we decided against the 'Lynch all liars' rule. But over the course of the game I learned that this rule probably would have been helpful. So I propose to instate the LAL rule this time. Then we at least have something to go on in this crazy setting.
Crazy day 1 talk (as usual) and a splitting headache (not that usual) mean I don't have that much to post. Still waiting for the flavour text to see who died, and why. Still unsure if we should lynch Zchinque or not.
