Once again thank you all for participating in this small event and for submitting the questions. We've just stopped recording more questions and we're finishing uploading the remaining videos, so please stay tuned to [url=http://www.youtube.com/gogcom]our YouTube channel for more answers - as you know YT likes to be picky and processing videos takes a bit.

We really had fun recording those answers and we hope you'll have fun watching them and will know more about us and GOG.com as a whole. We can sure try this one again some time as now we have more experience in doing this ;)

Oh and one more thing, all users who's questions we've answered should contact us at users@gog.com to claim their free game code, yay!

Cook: Yes, we'll take care of that, thanks.
Actually, I meant my question.

What to do with my hint is up to you.

Ah, ok :) As for your question, can't say anything yet, but I don't think it's something in the plans for 2011. You can always use the "list view" instead of virtual game shelf if you want to keep it more compact.

I see.

I know there's list view, it's just that bookshelf looks much better.

But you should think about that while thinking about plans for 2012 and later. With growing catalogue, users bookshelves will get bigger and thus it will be harder to find/sort games etc., and to load up bookshelf page.

Cook: <snip>
I received my code this morning, but I have a question (just to make sure). This code doesn't "expire", does it? If it doesn't, I'll probably wait until next week before deciding which game to use it on.
I should have asked the question: "if you were ever closing up shop, would you give us enough warning time so that we could make some final purchases?"

Not that it would ever happen! :) At least I hope not, but if it did who knows when we could get these games DRM free again, so we need warning time to get all the games on our wishlists that we had held off on before!
Just watched the answers. Glad to hear, you guys have a plan! :)

Nice idea by the way.

Cook: Just to make sure everyone...with the free game code asap.
OK, now that I watched all of 'em, and after many good laughs...

About 14, damn! I loved that T-shirt. Do you guys consider selling that model, with that phrase exactly and a GOG.com logo somewhere in the front or in the back? I'd buy it, if good quality/good price from cafepress.

And about 18, liked very much the answer from Marcin: "You just don't sell your dreams and passions". Agreed, treat this "child" well guys, it kinda did revigorated the PC's retrogaming scene. ;)

And as I said previously, Why don't you guys create an YT playlist of the videos, from 1 to 20? It's easier to share one link only.
Sent you email, but I still haven't got any reply...

Bavarian: Damn, I missed the actual event. Had to work. The videos are very funny and enlightening. I watched them all now.

My question would have been: Why don't you provide other languages for the games? Most of them are only offered in english, though there does exist other language packs for particular ones.

I've already asked this via the support form a few weeks ago but sadly I didn't get an answer so far.
I would like to play all these Games in German too. Most of them are existing in german.
But I will not buy Games which are not offered in other languages.

If you offer the games in the existing languages, I will buy much more games here.
