It’s on like Donkey Kong! Have a burning question that needs answering? Feel the need to find out what it sounds like when a Frenchman, a Polish native, and an American with hearing in one ear try to sing “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey?* Ask us any question you’d like, from now until noon or so EDT, and we’ll pick as many as we can to answer for you. You can either leave a comment here in the forums, or else hit us up @gogcom on Twitter and ask us there instead.

Sadly, Marcin has contracted a case of food poisoning and is busy at home being wretchedly sick. We know, you were looking forward to more meme-y goodness. We hope that we will suffice, by ourselves.

This is our eight surprise in GOG.com's Holiday Celebrations. Don't know what we're talking about? For the first two weeks of December, we're going to reveal a little something for you once a day, until December 14 when we reveal the BIG surprise!

*Note: We will not sing Journey--or anything else--no matter how much you ask.
I thought I asked the question to do with the 3rd video actually!

But oh well - enjoy the free game SLP2000!
With one of the most popular GOGmixes being for linux/wine compatibility, it would seem that we are a handsome share of the GOG market. Any plans (or possibility) of updating the incompatible games to be better supported in Wine?
MARCIN! YAY!
The rights to Magic: the Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers by Microprose should currently be controlled by either Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro or Atari. Will we see it on gog.com in the near future?
I have a question. How hard is the no-DRM sell really? Have you had publishers flatly saying no chance in hell at the very idea of releasing a game they don't even have on sale anymore because they insist on using DRM?
Will GoG start bringing demos for games? Will GoG host a demo for the witcher 2? I'm buying it anyway through the site, but ANYTHING to play it a little earlier is welcome. :)

Final question, will GoG host updates for TW2?

How many more games will be released this side of new years?

LordCinnamon: MARCIN! YAY!
Yes, welcome back! You don't look "wretchedly sick"
Do you have a count on how many accounts that become 'inactive' (never logged in, never buying games anymore) after the shutdown stunt? It'd be interesting to see the rough data...

Edit: Oh yeah, and what's your plan for 2011 on GOG?

So you say that you won't sing anything in the videos... but that doesn't rule out dramatic readings.

Can you do a dramatic reading of the lyrics to "Don't Stop Believing", a la Shatner?

Or, if you'd prefer a serious question, what does your game backlog look like? Are you scrambling for new games and publishers to keep up with the demand, or is the reason you haven't put out Sierra's Doctor Brain games that you have too many better games in the queue?
When running a few games in Win7 64bit I have to give the game admin privileges. Will this always be the case or are you planning to update them at a later time in case microsoft decides to remove that function in a later OS?
Okay, I've got two questions for you:

1. Some time ago, there was some talk about selling games from other platforms...such as the Amiga or Dreamcast. Every right-thinking person understands this would be completely awesome. So, do you currently have any plans (or at least ambitions) to release games from other platforms?

2. Well, I know old games are your main focus, but do you have any plans for publishing indie games? There are many good indie developers out there making some really interesting stuff. These games actually have some things in common with the old games you are releasing. For one thing, they often feature "old school" gameplay. For another thing, they are developed on relatively small budgets by developers who are often willing to take risks and innovate, or at least use less mainstream concepts. You know, kind of like many games were made in the good old days. I think it would be nice to have a common portal for these sorts of games.

What would you say was the game that you most wanted a sequel for?

Ok, so video 6 - I definitely not asked about monks (my nick is at the title screen of the video). And please clarify my doubts about the previous video (#3).

And, btw - I'm SLP2000, not slp2000 :D

Will there be a New Years Sale - like last year?
