Hello. I had this idea that i thought was kinda cool where GOG has a live show where they hold tournaments for older games. You know, one week they play descent, the next Unreal 2k4? I just wanna know what you guys think of that.

A podcast might not be a bad idea. I'd love to hear the philosophical musings that pervade the airs of the GOG offices.

I think it would be awesome, but I doubt it'll happen. At least not officially. On the other hand, if some forumites took it upon themselves to arrange a tournament, maybe TET and/or Judas could be persuaded to act as commentators for the live stream/subsequent YouTube video.

I would honestly like to see "GOG achivements" Some day here, related to accounts and games

You could always manually add a custom signature to all your messages, something like and it'd be about as impressive and annoying as the real thing :p
If you want the gameplay immersion breaking thing, build a machine that shoots a laser in your eye and plays a sound when you press a button. Still manual, but almost as annoying as the real thing.

well i'm not that against achievements, sure they can suck sometimes but they can be really fun too. I have a few friends i regularly play l4d2 with on expert realism and it's always fun trying to get some really hard achievement together.
