I still remember folks, like you've said you want to "first alternative to steam".

So, steam started huge games sale. And i'm wondering if GOG is going to have the same.

Because if so, I will save my money for GOG.com promotions

If not, wel... all my money through vacation will go directly to Valve :P

haha the David vs Goliath thing was fun last time eh? :D
There really doesn't exist a more efficient way of sucking the money right out of my bank account than a Steam/GOG summer/new year sale. God bless.
My poor wallet has been roasted enough :(

Yeah. When they 1st told they are going to compete with steam I though they mean dropping "old games" concept, but it never happened.

SO WHERES MY SUMMER SALE GOG?!
I sort of assumed the staycation sale was the summer sale..
I'm also interested if there will be another stage of Staycation after Interplay promo expires.
I also guess no weekend promo (?) this week.

If that's all what GOG has on vacation, it sucks.... Even comparing to last year's gog summer sale, not only to steam sale.

The Staycation sale was a great sale for a small company like GOG. GOG does not have the influence like Valve has to convince all the publishers for a good enough discount for big sales like Steam has regularly.
GOG is a lot smaller.

I just want to know if there will be a weekend promo on top of the Interplay one.
The only reason Steam had one of these is to have the games cheaper,to destroy your wallet and to get free stuff

GOG already has small prices for games.
Guys, you don't remember GOG had 50% off whole catalogue last summer?

So IT IS possible for gog.

or it was on Christmas?

But, gog's christmas was amazing, it was almost the entire catalog at half price.
I think GOG will have more than one Staycation deal throughout the summer.
