I've been super busy and forgot to upload the template so I'll take this opportunity to entirely edit this thread and the disclaimer as well.

Inno Setup got supper boring with its simplistic and not so creative installer interface. I've been tweaking that software and got to the point of learning its programming, it's very simple really. So I tried searching for an installer that allows me to re-create GOG's installer beause well I just love GOG's installer so I got an architect version of Advanced Installer. In my opinion Inno Setup have better compression and it is easier to use than Advanced Installer, well I love writing codes in Notepad++ so that's why.

So for those who have a rotting, cluttering, wet, muddy, greased jewel copy of old games then this is the template to put them once and for all in one place, in your portable 2 terabyte hard drives.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MAY OR MAY NOT WORK WITH ADVANCED INSTALLER's FREE VERSION. You have been warned so don't blame me.

As for my repu-repu, I am not super excited in associating this post to my GOG or Steam profile in fear of someone using this template to you know create installers for pirated games even if I have the disclaimer in place. In GOG I have 20 games, Steam I have 600+ games and a Level 60 profile.

Please, please please don't use this to make your pirated games more appealing. Support games, buy games on Steam first then GOG and share it to your friends right yeah, thanks Zuckerbitch ;P

Interesting... Although the links don't work, and you're new (like days new) with 0 rep...

Yes! I was in the works of making one myself with InnoSetup but this is great!

While Inno is simple and easy it doesn't have feature to create your own unique install interface unless you code an exe program yourself.

I just stumbled upon this thread, and am curious - being on the GOG forum and all, would be so kind to explain why you tell people to buy games first on Steam and not on GOG?

My mistake, I should have elaborated that part. Well most latest releases are released on Steam. GOG may have re-branded from Good Old Games to GOG but the name sticks. Maybe I'm just biased because I have substantial collection on Steam. But alas let's discus more about the template not Steam.

I have absolutely no idea what it is you have made or what I'm supposed to use it for.

Supposedly, you can use this program to create GOG installers out of other sources, like games downloaded from other sites, CDs/DVDs, etc. I say supposedly, because I haven't tried it yet.

I looked over the download a few days ago, it doesn't contain any programs, it's just a template (XML files, images, and layouts, ect) for another installer program, which you could then customize and add the extra required data in order to make a complete installer.
It's a template for Advanced Installer. Though I don't know if it works in the free version.
