kalirion: I always find it strange when people talk about not being able to afford $4-$5 games...

You have to take into account that sometimes these things stack, so instead of buying one, you get gangraped.

Miaghstir: If you hold your breath, you can go without both lungs.

Nice one. Also, I could sell one of my testicals, and then as an added bonus go on the tour de france.

Sometimes you have to think about people OUTSIDE the United States. So, those games turn out to be more expensive, plus you need an international credit card (at least!) for buying those. In my case, both things are the problem, as I'm unemployed plus I don't have an international credit card.

The great benefit of imaginary girlfriends.

You don't really need all that bonemarrow either. Unless you're losing a lot of blood regularly. Also you could probably fetch a good prize for a cornea. You don't need depth perception to play games on a flat screen anyway.

I don't really play that much racing games. There go the legs.
Slowly, but surely, I'm getting a pension plan here.

That's kinda funny considering I've been getting "international order" surcharges on my credit card bill for GOG purchases. So instead of $5.99 the game would turn out to be $6.45 or whatever (don't remember the exact number.)
But it didn't happen the last time I made a purchase. Maybe because I used a different card?

Yeah, some banks seem to like taking any money they can from their customers as long as they can come up with a reason, no matter how far-fetched, imaginary, and/or retarded said reason is.

You better hope she never decides to get on your computer and see what web forums you frequent ;) Lol!! Although I've definitely felt that before! :) (And now I'm hoping mine doesn't ;)

kalirion: Wouldn't it be nice if you could merge accounts? That would solve a lot of such issues.

I think there's a misunderstanding. I bought her something expensive, not games from GOG. :-)
EDIT: Corrected post, thanks to Wishbone below!

She'd have to figure out my password for Vista (hint: password) and figure out how to get around my navigation sequences...
Ah I see :) Mine would have to take a crash course in using Stump Window Manager on Arch Linux. Lol!

But what will you hold your breath in if not your lungs, a bucket?

How did you manage to get my name in there? I wasn't even quoted in kalirion's post.
Oops! Sorry!
I edited the quote number because I thought that's one further down than what remained after the usual error about having wrong format or whatever... don't remember exactly, only can give my apologies here! Also, I corrected the posting you quote!
