Tiny, Big. I'm the man with the laser beam!

Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers, an insanely imaginative indie action-puzzler with cartoony graphics, crazy characters, and remarkable level design, is available on GOG.com 60% off until Thursday, October 25 at 10:59 GMT.

A strange planet filled with sand, giant rocks, and forgotten mysteries, becomes the scene of an ultimate conflict between two mortal enemies: Tiny (the Bullied) and Big (the Bully). The hero of this story endured being bullied, mocked, and robbed of his possessions by his nemesis for years. But then Big crossed the final line and stole a pair of undies that belonged to Tiny's beloved grandfather. Something had to be done. Accompanied by his overly talkative AI backpack, armed with a industry-grade laser cutter, a rocket launcher, and a handy grappling hook, our protagonist sets off to chase after his oppressor and reclaim his heritage. His quest takes him into the depths of the Forsaken Desert, a place where strange is the new black.

Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers is what Portal would look like if it was a Ren & Stimpy cartoon. The physics-based puzzles, odd humor, and heavily stylised graphics create a unique blend of fun and challenge, that you simply have to taste for yourself. Cleverly designed stages and original mechanics give you the opportunity to approach each puzzle from many different angles and experiment in a sandbox environment.

In a world where old underpants become a matter of life and death, one man is brave enough to go after his mortal enemy. GOG.com presents: Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers. Now 60% off--that's only $3.99 for the next 24 hours!

trebor8273: might pick it up at this price heard its good but very short
Yep, it is a really fun and quite different game, but it could have been twice the length and still not been considered to be very long. Had it had a level editor (and an active community making levels for it), this game would have been a no-brainer at full price. As it stands, it is well worth $4, but possibly not $10.

Roman5: I don't want to sound like a buzzkill here but...it seems like GOG is giving indies all of the Gem promos lately
We've had The 7th Guest three weeks ago and Postal 2 last week. There was Rise of the Triad quite recently as well. We try to keep the balance.

This ones worth it. Believe me. It's one of the most fun games i've played in years. I highly recommend it.
If you're done with T&B, try Mightier for something a bit similar, yet completely different

I watched their video, very creative, probably not my sort of game but have to hand it to them very unique interactive idea.
I already got this game from the last IndieFort bundle, but for people who missed it, I'd recommend it. It has an innovative idea, and the gameplay is worth 4$, even though the graphics look awful (and the sound isn't much to write home about either).

I thought the graphics were really sharp and vibrant. I guess you are not liking the art style?

The graphics look like they were done with the absolute minimum of effort possible. Slice through a large piece of rock, and you look at a huge polygon of exactly the same color, with zero detail. The game looks like a cheap comic book.

Some reviewers have mentioned that the game has a "unique" art style, but, well, if I want to be lazy with the graphics design, I can design a game in black and white without any detail and call that "unique" as well.

I'm not blaming the devs though. As I said, the gameplay is innovative enough to make up for the graphics. And as a small developer, it's not a bad idea to focus your effort on whatever your game does well. For T&B, that's the gameplay. It's pretty obvious that the graphics were designed to be "economical" first and foremost.

Well as it's an indie game, i dont think we could expect something with crysis style visuals. And judging by alot of indie games these days, that are throwbacks to gameboy/8 bit gaming, i'd say that Tiny and bigs PS2 style graphics are very welcome indeed.

It depends on what you compare the games graphics to.
Nice promo! One game less on my wishlist.

Ah, cool, now that the game is out of beta they have a Linux native version too :)
It's nice to have a pretty new release in the GOG gem promo this time. I've been interested in this one so I went ahead bought it.
