Extremely well written, actually.

The Book of Unwritten Tales, a point-and-click adventure that spoofs all of the popular fantasy worlds, is available 50% off on GOG.com. That's only $9.99 for the next 24 hours!

Fantasy and comedy go together in perfect harmony. Side by side with their swords and puns, oh Lord, they mix nicely. We all know--fantasy tropes are the same, wherever you go. There's fun to be had, for everyone. Eh, enough with the song. The point remains: the fantasy and comedy are two things that were meant to be together like bacon and eggs, like peanut butter and jelly, like Belle and Edward. Urgh. Maybe this is not a good day for metaphors. Fantasy is fun. Nuff said.

The Book of Unwritten Tales references almost all imaginable popular fantasy worlds, that you visited in your books, movies, and games. It's an intelligent parody made with a visibly tremendous amount of love for the genre. Possibly a little bit over-the-top, from time to time, but still very light-hearted. The jokes that the game delivers are spot-on, and you'll have excellent time recognizing the twisted image of your favorite moments and places. All this comes in the form of a classic point-and-click adventure with impressive and detailed visuals, quirky characters, and professional voice acting. Whether you're a Terry Pratchett reader, a World of Warcraft player (by the way--happy birthday, WoW!), or a fan of Peter Jackson's vision of Lord of The Rings, you'll have a blast playing this one.

They say that laughter extends your lifespan. With The Book of Unwritten Tales you can extend yours by a couple of years easily*, for only $9.99!

* Tested on goblins. Outcome may vary in human subjects.
Not bad but with the current excellent "5 for 10$" promo and the upcoming Christmas sales...It's hard to justify spending money on this right now, I'll pass and I'm guessing many others will too

Add to that a long backlog of games from previous promos... Gog is making me a Game Collector not a Game Player!
I am intrested in the game, if it was a bit less i'de snatch it right away
but with the current 5 for 10 and other deals around i'll have to wait a bit
and see how much i'm gonna spend, either way it looks like a great
adventure game, I love it's style! :)
Hmm... I must admit it looks nice, so I guess I'll give it a try...
*sigh* look, I'd love to get it, but still English only?

Not gonna happen... sorry.

Games should be available in English *and* in their original language at least...
Nice, I'm getting this.

wishlist -= 1;
One of the game that I rly want to try, but I have to pass this time, out of money :S
good deal but I am also broke
Too bad the Mac version isn't also available here. I'd have grabbed it today. For now, it remains on my Steam wish list since it's available for Mac there.
no mac version means no buy for me either
Urrgh, I've spent so much lately (including money I'd put aside to pay the taxes), tax can wait this has been on the wishlist so here we go again.
I would gift it to my sister if there was Polish version included.
