And now It's got rebooted. It's never gonna let me go!!!!
Space Rangers HD is planned for end of the year which will probably include the Revolution expansion as well. You're doomed! :D

OK, still have time for one more planetary quest...*12 hours later* ooohh sunlight...." kind of games for me. This game actually earned me the "Space Rangers expert" at the office because I was quite enthusiastic about it :D.
Damn it! You shall not throw off my current run through Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Must resist temptation! =P

Now that the game actually runs on my lappie, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the next game I played afterwards. It certainly sounds like an oddly fascinating mishmash that I never got to experience until now. *mumbles something about stupid integrated graphics chips*

The mishmash actually does work. It's not like they just threw everything in there and said "OK we make game gief moneys". All of the different elements have a reason for being there. The planetary adventures are there for when you have a specific quest to fulfill, the RTS sequences are basically mop up operations for when you clear a system of Dominators, etc. etc. And then you have the whole freedom to do what you want. If you want to just play a space pirate and pillage transport ships all day and snatch their cargo, then go for it. You can even engage in other illicit activities such as smuggling. Basically, if you think of something, then chances are you do it in the game.

We all are. I'm thinking I'll just get a mini-fridge and a bedroll to put next to my computer. When I'm done I may have to find a new job and repair my unused social skills, but I'm fairly certain it will be worth it.

Fantastic game, expansion given for free to those who previously purchased the main game, updated game offered at special sale price for a significant discount.... GOG IS SO AWESOME...!!! Take mah moniez, nao!
