Be the change you want to see in the world!

Postal 2 Complete, the legendary sandbox of sadistic stunts, roaring rampage of rage, and medley of mindless mayhem, is now available on GOG.com 60% off until Thursday, October 18 at 10:59 GMT.

Do you feel like your life lacks meaning and brings you no satisfaction? Is your neighborhood full of annoying people, filthy animals, and irritating noise? Does your job bring you down with repetitive menial task, one day after another? Do you believe that everyone around you deserves to be violently punished for their shortcomings? If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, visit your local Church of Divine Tranquility of the Blessed Lotos for spiritual advisory. We'll teach you how to cope with the annoyances of everyday life, by means of meditation and herbal tea. Enter the path of enlightenment and make the world a better place by making yourself a better human being! Or there's another option...

Postal 2 Complete, the poster boy for videogame-related controversy, is the 3D first person perspective shooter sequel to the infamous 2D slasher, Postal: Classic and Uncut. Calling it a shooter isn't actually that precise, as shooting firearms is only one of the means to enforce your will on the town folk of Paradise, Arizona. The arsenal includes a scythe to slice, a sledgehammer to smack, a can of gasoline for that extra spark, a cow (don't ask), and a pair of scissors to run around with. The large open-ended world is yours to explore freely, so you can find the multitude of secrets in the cleverly-designed locations. The game offers tons of carefully manufactured cheesy humor, tongue-in-cheek real-life references, and more than one way to reach the goal in each of the many missions.

Exercise your free will and good conscience to achieve the blessed state of inner peace and harmony with the Universe in Postal 2 Complete, for only $3.99!
Come on guys, buy this. RWS needs our support.

darthspudius: I wish you people would stop with this silly digs at steam already. It got old a very very long time ago. Try think of something else to say. +1 from me, Stupid game but alot of fun!

ReynardFox: Silly digs? I'm not allowed to express my opinion that steam is an inferior platform to GOG, especially for games already available in a form you can actually own and don't require jumping through arbitrary hoops to play? I am genuinely disgusted with the support steam gets, and how so many of its fans act like it's perfect and above criticism.
GOG is better than Steam. I just wish GOG made older games available quicker. For instance, I would have rather bought The Bard's Tale here than on Steam but the Steam sale got my $$. But I always buy GOG games over Steam if both services offer them.

Oh, and as for Postal 2. I hate the game. Just thought i would add that comment to keep things on topic.:-)

Stuff: Already have Postal 2 but would have snagged the "Fudge Pack" if offered

Rest assured, it hates you right back.
I think I have this already from a bundle. Good thing too :)

timppu: That's just silly. Steam should only sell games that are not sold anywhere else.
avatar
Elbart: Because you say so?
He's making fun of the people who complain when GOG adds a game they can already buy elsewhere. Probably.

I liked these promos when they were "hidden gem" promos, and I got to hear about games I wasn't already aware of. Ah well.

There's nothing wrong with having or stating an opinion until you start shoving it down peoples throats, then it just becomes tiresome and annoying. It had nothing to do with this topic and the way certain individuals throw their opinion around, I'm quite simply sick of seeing it.

You don't like steam... good for you. Just stop telling everyone every opportunity you get!
Too bad Postal 1 is not on sale as well :(.

For everyone who thinks Steam is awesome, your opinion is wrong; completely and utterly incorrect in every conceivable way.

U MAD?!?!!!

Steam can bite the big one as far as I'm concerned. That said, for some, I could see why it would serve a purpose (though I don't think I could ever embrace it as a primary digital platform.
