Does anyone know how to swap the new icons in Games Explorer with the old game box icons? I thought these might do it, but they look like they're only 32x32 pixels.

Very impressed with the upload though!

First of, my thanks goes to JMich and everyone who is contributing to his project. I've been wanting to replace my installers, but have been keeping the v.1 versions in order not to lose the old icons. I've looked at the list and I have a couple I can contribute during the weekend.

As for extraction, I use 'Universal Extractor'. So far, it hasn't had any problems with GOG installers, although it will extract everything, so you need to have the appropriate amount of disk space.

I'm just looking through my discs now. There's a few that I've only got the 2.x versions for sadly, but I have 1.x installers/icons for Apache Longbow, Evolva, Ultima 7 and Edna & Harvey ready and extracted for you.

There's also a very strong likelihood that I have 1.x icons for Giana Sisters, Hind, Hotline Miami, Baldur's Gate 2, Incredipede, Inquisitor, Invictus, Kingdom: The Far Reaches, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Moonbase Commander, Port Royale 2, Powerslide, Return to Mysterious Island, Shattered Steel, Still Life 2, Treasure Adventure Game, Tyrian 2000 and Waxworks, but searching for all them will take time.

How should I best send them to you?

Edit: I've now extracted the icons for Giana Sisters and Hind as well. Hotline Miami was 2.x on my disc unfortunately.

I have the 1.x icons for Ultima VII and Serpent Isle. Check your PM.

I don't know how the v2 icons look on Win7 or 8, but on XP they look like blobs of ugly nothing. I can't tell what two thirds of them are supposed to be - they are just a messy bunch of unrecognizable pixels. I very much prefer the originals.
