SLP2000: Also, I'm afraid about that biggest change.
For once, we can agree.

Well, it seems that they will announce Mac support (and I'm not afraid about this).

I totally forgot about it, but I read about three weeks ago Witcher 2 for Mac will be released on GOG.

Hm...assuming this means more Doublefine and assuming that the Cave is part of this....isn't The Cave published by Sega? Food for thought, maybe.

A Square-Enix sale would also be kinda nice at this point.

SimonG: Maybe the biggest change since coming out of beta will be a proper news feed?
Or a search function that's not site:http://www.gog.com/en/forum

SLP2000: For a moment I misread this and didin't notice the "indie" part.

Also, I'm afraid about that biggest change.
We'll see, I doubt it will be bad. Maybe a proper client?

csmith: I'm surprised that they sent out a press release about it but it doesn't seem to have been mentioned here on the site.
You should be happy that they didn't announce it on social media only :-D

Well...can't wait! Hope for another wave of EA classics. On the other hand I'm afraid of this "biggest change to the service"...Last shift (from good old games to gog.com) did not appeal to me.

biggest change = Mac support
high rated
Dear GOG.com,

When you have important news about yourself to share, PUT IT ON YOUR FUCKING SITE!!!

Sincerely,
A long-time GOG.com customer
Ah, people will be disappointed. No matter what they'll announce.

Well, at least they can't say GOG is overhyping this...

(Seriously GOG, put your announcements on your own site.)

Actually, I'm finding this thread remarkably jaded so far.

But yeah, I'm looking forward to see the hype wagon roll. If it indeed turns out to be Double Fine and Mac support, the aftermath is going to be fun to watch.

People will create hype themself.

Yeah, they are usually lacking with announcement's speed here (as shown with Project Eternity) but this one wasn't announced anywhere, only GOG unrelated site posted it, so I am willing to give them some time. If they announce something on twitter or FB and not here then I blame them but not this time, becaause I am sure they will announce it eventually. :-)

Hopefully they won't let me down and won't announce it only on FB.
Can't wait. It sounds really exciting.
