I want profiles and public wishlists, needing to ask your buddy what game he wants kind of bugs me

gameon: Well TET said he'd post about it first thing this morning. Perhaps he meant American time.
He said "first thing tomorrow morning" last week (unless there's another post I didn't see?). I'm actually a little concerned, but if the deal fell through, I assume there'd be an announcement on Kickstarter; letting pledges come in under the false pretenses of a GOG release could cause no end of trouble. And so I wait.

Lol :D My bad. I can't believe i didn't see that!
Double Fine seems like a good fit. I was thinking maybe Mojang to bring Minecraft and their future projects to the site. Though I wonder if the "video-gaming magic" description for the indie developer is a clue?

It does seem the change to the service will have to be rather huge. They've already moved away from the only-two-price-points and the "old game" focus. I imagine it has to do with a walrus.

SimpleUser: another example of this sort of stuff not actually appearing on the actual site!!! Grrr

bazilisek: Yeah, that's a rather annoying trend. See also: the promised announcement about the partnership with Obsidian on Project Eternity.
Its not like I want to make more work for GOG (they should concentrate of getting more Good (old) Games onto the site) but just a link to the other content - they dont have to write a full article just link to it!

^^^ Definitely this.

One of the characters in Double Fine's upcoming The Cave is the hillbilly. So yeah, that would be my guess.
SYSTEM SHOCK CONFIRMED.
I guess that releasing Double Fine Adventure on GOG.com takes care of their DRM free version without Double Fine having to worry about infrastructure problems.

Also, PC version of Trenched / Iron Brigade is GFWL so no chance to have it here unless they rewrite their network code (which I don't see happening soon).

... and MS approval.
And the little streams of GOG games and alcohol come'a trickling down the rocks...
For a moment I misread this and didin't notice the "indie" part.

Also, I'm afraid about that biggest change.
