With Rodzaju's contradictions, it's still exceedingly difficult to get anything exact from his lynch, Vitek's role as a traitor means that his posts would probably lean more towards the Mafia then anything town-like.

I'm still very suspicious of Jefe's setup, and also concerned in another way. There's no actual way of confirming him short of a lynch, and I highly doubt that the Mafia is going to waste the NK on him. I can come up with a scenario that might fit this, but I admit I'm stretching it...Mafia Roleblock, kill Joe, trying to keep Jefe alive while getting rid of what might get him killed randomly? I don't really know, or understand.

As for Baz, I admit I'm still suspicious, his survival is odd, and the fact that only Vitek was killed (and claimed by Red), means that either, Jefe was the targetted NK, or the Mafia and Red went after Vitek...or the Mafia and Red are one and the same, using the Vig claim as a way of deterring a tracker. But out of all of that, our claimed Doctor still lives...and in fact managed to possibly protect a target...suspicious.

I don't really have any other leads, keeping my vote on Jefe, because something there just really doesn't sit right for me.

My gut feeling at the moment is that there are a hell of a lot of power roles running around in this game, with a healthy sprinkling of qualifiers and additions. In that light, there is a horribly large range of combinations of actions which could have resulted in tonight's happenings. I really don't think discussing this is helping... Maybe we should just be grateful that we're only one short, and that that one was a Traitor.

Re Rod, I'd be interested in other's opinions -- to what extent is his information to be considered trustworthy?

Vote TwilightBard on the basis that the previous post (871) is a massive tangle of possibilities and uncertainties, and I really can't see why you're so suspicious of Jef... After admitting that you're highly suspicious of Baz due to the fact that he's still alive.

@Robbeasy, it's most likely a long day's wear and tear ;) Statistics is something that can be very complicated and requires a lot of variables - mafia has too many unknown variables, which means applying statistics is that much more difficult and dangerous :p (I should know, on my first semester of my masters and only now are we being taught statistics aspect of mathematics - and a lot of people are confused as hell :D)

I'm seeing Rod being brought up a lot, and people arguing whether he was trustworthy or not. There is one issue though, we cannot know. What I would say is consider it like Schroedinger's cat if one must speculate about it. He pretty much cast his words into such a case, as whether he was telling the truth about everything yet unclaimed is something we can debate until the end game - and not once will it become any more productive than it is now.
In short; You can only consider him to be 100% trustworthy and 100% untrustworthy, and both at the same time.

I must admit, TwilightBard is increasingly suspecious to me, not to say that his vote on jefe was not really build on anything of particular solidity. I'd also like to mention that cruward_Darkeyes is suspecious for jumping onto the jefe wagon almost the very same time jefe got his first vote of the day.

Just FYI, I'm having a rather complicated day today and I don't want to post much in this game until I find the time to sit down and properly reread the thread. And I'm not at all sure if I'll be able to do that before the weekend, though I do hope so. Sorry for lurking!

I like the statistic battle that took place and as somewhat responds to Robs question about why the info was freely offered I did it for the reason I already stated: Its better to avoid a lot of wifom and useless speculations and it gives us way more information to work with if all is aware of the true situation. Of course this is a mafia game and one should doubt everyone, but as well as one can promise in a mafia game, I promise that I did indeed kill Vitek. If you take flavor text in you'll also noticed that the weapon used for the kill could hint at some form of one shot kill (assuming it can¨t be reloaded). I'll check if my kill text earned me more flavor than what was posted for all, perhaps it could help or prove something.

I'll go along with that one, even so as he is taking lurking to the extremes and my own doubt that one stays noob while playing - seems more like a strategy than an actual situation. I could also go with my other suspects, but this lurking is not helping us no matter what - and makes him a good a candidate for lynch so far.

Don't take it personal mate, EVERYONE is going to think EVERYONE is scummy until they're dead. ;) Well, the townies are at least. Have you read some of the other games on this site? I found that really helpful when I was starting off. I still do find it useful.
