What I'm picking up from this, Rod, is "It's more important for me to be alive than town to win". As such, I don't really think you're helping your case.

I see my survival & town win as complementary objectives, rather than competitive.
I would expect every townie to have the same priorities.

With a job like Drug Dealer, I expect people to look at that & instantly decide that is more likely a scum job than a town one.
My flavour text would put that into perspective & (hopefully) defuse that suicide declaration.
Unfortunately, it would do a lot more than that.

You said yourself if you share your information, town is screwed - then why would you do so if you're in danger of being lynched? In case you really are town, your death would not spell victory for mafia. Yes, it would mean the death of a townie, and in worst case, two townies with power roles. And threatening to worsen the chances of a town victory should you die is FAR from town behaviour.

And any town death is at odds with town winning, yes, but it is at times necessary as it thins the number of suspects - otherwise day 1 would forever drag on in every game, no?

The only idea that I've managed to come up with is that X originally planned to include all the player names.
He then realised how wrong this would be & took them out, but whether by accident or design, missed Baz..

Yeah, it's unlikely, but I can't come up with anything better.

If I was scum, then either:
A) I knew Baz role cos he's scum too.
In this case, why not use all my scum buddies, so that it would not stand out so much.
I don't have to give the names, but it would look a lot less suspicious if I HAD them!

B) I picked Baz cos he's town.
So how do I know his role?

Even Baz doesn't seem to know his role. He claimed doctor on Day 1, but is now claiming Jailkeeper. It seems to me that this was some elaborate scheme to be so in the spotlight that you couldn't possibly be scum.

I believe that Baz has made a leap of deduction & come up with Jailkeeper.
He is actually xxxxx Doctor.
