I suspect he is trying to get himself murdered by mafia goons by stating he possesses far more knowledge than a regular town member.
Shouldn't these stuff be kept secret for later in the game?

While it's true that lynching from RVS votes get us nowhere, we can dig up a lot of reactions and go forth from the information they give us. While we don't have 100% mod proven information, it's going to be rare that we have a lynch that is 100% (as even the claimed cop can still be lying, or not get correct results). My problem, was the exact wording that you wouldn't want to lynch a Mafia member if we managed to oust one, which is what we're trying to do to begin with.

Eh, I wouldn't call it vicious persay, but we have to jump on a lot of slips and apply pressure, since what we get from the mod only goes so far to prove or disprove stuff. Reads and slips go a long way in helping us pin down Mafia.

I am really really stumped here Rod - why would you go bandying names about this early in the game? Its a softclaim - you are claiming knowledge other than Vanilla by your very actions. I wanted to apply pressure to you to gauge reactions from others , and I still think your post was a slip, but this has really worried me. All you achieve by these actions is confusion and if you are town with a power, painting a big fat target on your back.

I cant see how it helps us at all, in any way. At L-2 or L-1, then you may have a case for the claim, but not this early. Jester did cross my mind as well...

@jefequeso - vicious??? Nah - Its the only way to hunt down scum - you have to leap on the tiniest slip and apply pressure, see what occurs and read from that. especially on Day 1, its all we have. As days go by, more solid info is available, from lynches, night kills etc - thats when going back and rereading becomes a necessity, with the new knowledge brought at the start of a gameday. At the start of every gameday, I always read the game thread again right from the very start, armed with the new knowledge. I keep it all in my head- theres others here who make dossiers up on each player! (Dont forget no offence should ever be taken either - its game playing only!)

Anyway, Unvote Rodzaju - its had some interesting reactions , not least from itai.sharim - you seem very knowledgable for a newbie - you played this game before? Some insightful comments there..

@Grynn - you another candidate for jester? No room for bleeding hearts here my friend - you CANNOT give the Mafia a free go , its just not a good idea. Even a mislynch gives us vital information for use in the next days discussions. No Lynch means we potentially lose someone - more chance of it being a power role as well don't forget, as the Mafia have less people to choose their victim from - much much better to lynch someone. Dont forget a player can win the game if dead, as long as their 'faction' wins (usually)

I & the rest of the town would have been far better served by me staying in the background.

However, I've seen how this goes.
As soon as the votes start piling up, you are doomed.
If you defend yourself, it draws attention & ends up in a lynch.
If you don't you're admitting guilt & get lynched.
Unless I could say something to make people think twice & perhaps look at someone else, I was never going to survive the day.

As it is, I'll probably be nightkilled, but so be it.

yeah that's what I was going for. Well, I don't know about directly trying to cause a mafia slip-up but discussion begets discussion.

You say you've played 2-3 games before? You MUST know how it works!
I never used to be sure, but I've learned much about the ways of mafia recently, and now I'm convinced day one must end in a lynch.

Could it be something having to do with his role? Like his character is a pacifist or something?

Maybe he has knowledge about the game setup - which takes us back to post 41.

I was going to suggest Rodzaju share his knowledge with the rest of us. But, as he stated mafia should definitely be deprived of such info, I'm not sure it will be a good move.
Any thoughts on this?
