bazilisek: Yeah, that's a pet peeve of mine. Because saying "I'm town" is a non-information. Townies are town and scum will always claim to be town. Therefore, saying you are town is just a waste of space; the only purpose it could possibly have is to implant "look, he's town" into everyone else's minds.

Or, you know, just wasting space. Which is not a lynchable offence, unfortunately.
Yes - I seem to remember it was you mostly on my case back then....the point I am making about Rods post was he was much more likely to phrase it the way he did if he was Mafia, and not Town. I dont really think he could have been accused of 'look I'm town' posting had he phrased it that way.

You neglected to actually pass comment on my theory Baz - just sort of skirted round it. Got any thoughts on it?

It's a nice catch, that's for sure. I approve of the method, and you might actually be on to something, but all in all, it's a fairly minor thing, isn't it?

Ah hey, I can't imagine there's much behind Rod's wording. To me it doesn't make him appear any more or less evil on my charted graph of who-might-be-evil.

But I think it was you Rob who broke the RVS, and don't I remember a time when you yourself said the person to break the random voting stage and seriously consider someone's comment would be almost definitely mafia?

I thought you might pick up on that Joe - shows you're paying attention..;o)

I think nmillar was the first to break ranks, but I was the first to actually pick on something yes.

That theory is a personal one and there is always the exception to the rule...!

I should start refreshing the page before I post my stuff - twice now people have slipped a message in between what I was replying to... so when I was typing post 94, posts 92 and 93 hadn't yet been written. Here's how it should have looked.

Not really; it still leads me to the same conclusion - that you and Rodzaju are on the same team, and it's the first link I've seen between players so far, so I have the first two names on my suspects list - Rodzaju and JoeSapphire.

Nah. I wasn't trying to say that Rodzaju was town. I was trying to say that whether he used the phrase "town" or "we" doesn't have too much bearing, which it doesn't - so it shouldn't be the basis for a lynch.

Okay not that he was in much danger of being lynched but it's hard to find things to discuss on the first day, so I voiced my opinion on the current affairs.

While it is definitely true there isn't much to talk about during the first day, doesn't that make it more important to talk about the things that are slightly possible to talk about, as it could cause a mafia slip-up?
