I'm not actually pushing to lynch you now, I voted to try and get you to claim. I still don't really buy the "unable to claim under any circumstances" post restriction. Especially since apparently the post restriction prevents you from saying what will happen if you break it, which is just silly.

Of course, if you turn out to be town like Orry we can all take it in turns kicking Joe in the kidneys.

Your response doesn't exactly answer xyem's question. You defended yourself for lynching townie by saing you wanted to unvote him while he got to L-1. You had the opportunity before as you posted after pazzer's vote and passed on it.

@Xyem Pretty sure all I've said is “I think enough people are happy to lynch Xyem”. Would love to vote for you as it's the logical choice. But after getting Muttly situation so wrong and feeling guilty. As wouldn't have voted if he'd posted an argument against Rodzaju I don't want to make the same mistake. I know it makes no sense and I'm probably wrong but there you go.

#837: re-reading, noticed Pazzer voted too and became more certain he (pazzer) is mafia. Vote made me begin to wonder if lynching Muttly was actually the right course of action, especially in view of Game 9. Also remembered Muttly had said he'd be out of town that weekend. Logged out because I had other things I was supposed to be doing (NaNoWriMo), but I was feeling uneasy.

I next logged in at about #841, from memory a couple of hours or so later, with the intention to unvote and put Muttly out of range.

Say for the sake of argument that we did lynch you just before the deadline, after having probed other players for mafia reads, and you flipped town, wouldn't that be a town-loose situation? So it wouldn't matter what we'd found. The only way delaying the vote would help is if you *are* mafia. Yes?!? O_o

If you're town I doubt that would help. As likely you would be lynched the next day anyway. I said I didn't believe both Muttly and Rodzaju could be town. So Vote Rodzaju.

I have to say you made me quite uneasy here. I don't think this is good explantion. You had great opportunity to unvote him there yet you didn't and we have only your word you intended to.

After I posted after Pazzer, I logged out. While I was doing other things (writing), I kept thinking about the situation, and wondering if it was the right thing to do.

My mind was changed by a) the style of pazzer's vote ("day is starting to drag"), and b) remembering the lynch of another 1st time player in game 9 - all of this player's scummiest contradictions turned out to be honest mistakes / misunderstandings. I became concerned we were making a similar mistake.

Re delay lynch or no delay lynch, I refer you to Vitek in post #914:
