Rodzaju: There is a lot of "Could be..." because none of it is proven yet.
The way I see it, Muttly is definitely scum.
His post 377 is not one I can EVER see a townie make.
Taken at face value,
it says, I believe he is town, I believe he is cop, but I'm willing to kill him regardless. You may as well shout "I'm scum! Here I am! Can't you see me!"
Assuming that he is not that stupid, a hidden message is the only other explanation I can think of.
From this I started to look for connections to other players, which led me to Primal.
He is far too consistent in trying to avoid any lines of convergence, which in itself creates lines of convergence, as I showed a couple of posts above.
I believe Muttly has, through his clumsy attempt to deny any link between them, fingered his scumbuddy.
@ Rod- this was the bit I was reffering to, but I can remove the score if you don't think that this is misquoting.
Rodzaju: The logic behind 2 newbie mafia is based around the order of the kills (& investigations, if they happened).
It was suggested that the more experienced players were being picked off.
If the mafia were themselves experienced players, it would raise questions as to why they were not killed.
However, the organised manner of the mafia actions (investigations &/or kills) suggests a definite plan.
It is entirely possible that the scum discussed things & came to agreement, but I think it more likely that there is someone able to direct events.
This authority would stem from a higher level of experience.
So there is 1 experienced scum, but any more of that would raise the questions I have just mentioned.
Assuming 3 mafia, this leaves 2 inexperienced scum.
I agree that it seems the more experienced players are being picked off in NKs.
But a removal of experienced players benefits the mafia
regardless of their composition.
If all three were experienced players, having a load of newbies running round going 'hes scum, no he's scum...'
still benefits them.
Also where is the line drawn between newbie and experienced?
As you say that it would be suspicious if there were only 3 experienced players left. (would it? We've had 3 NKs, and to begin with, what 7/12ths of the group were experienced? Is that right?)
@Xyem, that's for clearing that up.
@Vitek, 1)I honestly didnt! You can't say that I can't
not expect to survive, just because you always expect to...
2) And yeah, hence the question mark on that point.
3) Ah. damn. Thanks for pointing that out.... Although they do seem to fit with the rest of the set-up, but I suppose that could have been a mafia ploy as well.. >_<
And I think you wanted a futher explanation on not using my vote so far, Im holding back because I don't want to accidentally start a wagon that has the mafia leap on to it and ends in a mislynch. I'd rather I had a definitive case and was certain in my mind before committing to a vote.
