NotFrenchYet: I was so, SO sure Orry was scum, and now I'm having second thoughts. Rabbit's latest post in particular is pointing out the holes in my logic. It does trouble me however that the King has a name, where as Violator didn't have one, and the only other person I can confirm is me, and I don't either. Anyway, who's to say the King didn't order the murder of the Queen?

I still think Orry is our best bet for a tactical lynch, especially considering the amount of discussion the whole episode created, but I'm more willing to consider other options than I was this weekend... >_>

@Muttly my good man, why do you think Primal deserves pressure?
I too am thinking it may be more tactical to lynch orry even though I really do think he's town. As Primal points out, we'd have far more certainties if we do.
BUT I'm inclined to think if he does flip town, Baz will be the next nightkill; which is bad because he seems to be very good at analysing everyone.

I have no idea of the legality of reporting ans such, so just check out Post 377. Which was pointed out that SPF did in fact pretty much keep to O throughout. I suppose you could be asking why my vote remains on SPF, and i guess thats legit, I will blame bolding.

Unvote SirPrimalForm

*** By the way, if this f's up the forum again, its not my fault...

I was wondering about this too. I don't have a specific name and nor does the Queen in her sample PM (apart from Joe, but I think it's safe to assume that's the player's name rather than the character's name). As you point out: Violator didn't have a name (or at least not one that was revealed on death), nor do you.

It does seem a bit weird that Orry has claimed a name...
No name here too.

Sorry for being a bit quiet recently but I have decided against it as I didn't want mess into post restriction debate and there was not too much going on.
I am still hesistant about Orry's lynch but I haven't seen anything too incriminating on someone else so he is still my best target. I am bit leery about xyem, muttly and Sirprimalform (and few others too:-)). I think some re-read is in order.
No name for me either.

The name issue (thanks primal, I didn't pick up on this) does cast an extra layer of doubt on Orry.

I was going to say that, helpful or not, if we believe Orry, we shouldn't lynch him.
You wouldn't lynch a vanilla town, just because he is of limited use, so why the cop?

But the name is niggling me now....
Does anyone else have a name?

The point is that he's a 2nd-time-claimed cop who is highly suspect for a variety of reasons. The fact that he is of limited use is only one more factor in the case for lynching him.

For my part I still can't seem to stop being wary of xyem either, but we've argued a few times now, so I'll stick with the finger of suspicion of dooooom unless the wind changes. Like Rabbit, the only read I can come up with is “anti-mod”. It seems a really odd strategy.

@Muttly, I find it confusing that you withdrew your vote as soon as I asked you to explain it... A while back you mentioned you have gut feelings on who is scum. Are your ideas still that strong?

My comment was more aimed at those who say that they believe him, but want to lynch him anyway.

I keep finding myself jumping the fence from lynch him to save him & back again.
Everytime I come to a conclusion, I see something else to make me reconsider....!!

I don't have a name either :/
I'm pretty sure the name is just to make the poem flow better. The concise description just has King (town cop)

Of course, you didn't mention the name when I claimed "Poor Blind Jack" :P
I don't have a name in the role part of the PM, but I do have one in the poem. Which I presume is talking about the same character, but need not be.

I had explained it as much as I was able to that point and directed you to the post (granted, my grammar was butchered, I blame the drink). You did not prompt the removal, you reminded me I should. SFP himself prompted it when he pointed out, rightly so, that he had never changed his vote. An error in read on my part.

I dont know if I would define gut feelings as strong, but no, that list hasnt changed. Since I am in the sharing mood... I find the following folks suspicious based solely on the timing and convenience of their posts. Nothing much else.

TwilightBard
SirPrimalForm

I find the these folks have legit issues to explain...

Orryyrro - I believe he has to the farthest degree possible. In my mind, time to believe him or not. Originally I bent towards believing him, but as I understand more I am swaying the other way.

Xyem - All about the anti-mod as I stated earlier. Is it role restrictions or is he really that annoyed? If hes that annoyed I would lean toward town, if not, scum.
The morning dew soaks through boots and chills the toes.

Day Two Third Votecount
With eleven alive it takes six votes to lynch.

3 - Orryyrro (cast by SirPrimalform, NotFrenchYet and Vitek)
1 - Xyem (cast by LittleRabbit)

Not Voting - xyem, Orryyrro, TwilightBard, Bazilisek, Pazzer, Muttly13, Rodzaju.

Orryyrro is closest to lynch at L-3

OK, that muddies the waters even further.
Orry (affiliation unknown & highly suspect) named you town.
Either:
A) Orry is cop & you are town.
B) Orry is scum & you are town.
C) You are both scum.

A raises the question of why have you 2 been given names, when no-one else is willing to admit to them?

B suggests that naming you gives Orry a degree of credibility.
Why? At the time that he did this (And indeed still) I have seen nothing that convinces me you are town. Granted, I've seen nothing to cast excessive suspicion on you either, but....

C is just a dumb move. As soon as Orry flips scum, you come under extreme srutiny.
More or less town win in 1 easy step.

We seem to be going round in circles & tying ourselves in knots (well I am anyway).
Sorry, Orry, but I think I need something definite to help sort things out.
Vote Orry
Slow night... So given Rods vote (you forgot option "D" - O is an INSANE cop and Baz is scum!!! - Just kidding) and the point that O isnt going to be much good as the cop even if he is telling the truth for at least two more days. I beleive I am ready to push the limit for Orryyrro.

Putting him one away with vote Orryyrro
Well, seeing how it appears I'm going to be lynched, I should probably reveal that I am also the (princess) so the day following my death will not happen and the mafia will get 2 nights in a row.

This of course makes me the obvious target for a nightkill as well, hence my reasons for not revealing it, as well as why I was okay with following my post restriction of vanilla. (vanilla is far less of a target than cop) But if you're going to lynch me anyway, you should know the consequences.
