Am quite amused by everyone saying that Orryyrro claimed too early and he's not a liablity...as he was voted to L-2 and that lying about his role would cause us not to believe him at all when he eventually came clean. I wonder to this.

Why do I believe him? Because the whole setup does feel fairly convoluted, it seems designed to make us argue this, not believe our cop at all. I also believe him because, the complicated mess of it is quite frankly, too complicated for me to even consider something a Mafia would throw out at this stage. All the Mafia have knowledge of is Xyem's post restrictions, and would probably be weary of claiming a power role without having a clue what Xyem's is.

If we had a tracker or role cop then we might have a better idea, And if the mafia has a roleblocker, wouldn't that person be stuck blocking Orry the whole time too? So the mafia has a role that's tied to Orry to keep him 'useless'.

On the other hand, if Orryyrro was Mafia, then pointing out a townie is a good way to get us to use another lynch to confirm...which is fairly dangerous. The reality is that if Orryyrro flips Mafia, then Baz has to be lynched or dealt with somehow, he'd be too much of a liablity otherwise.

But, that's not what's bothering me right now...

Xyem claimed that his restriction isn't useful at all, suggesting that he may have had a one-use ability that he had to keep posting in such a way so he could use it. Mods don't tend to just hand those out to Vanilla Townies.

Pazzer always lurks like that though for the most part, but that definitely means that he should not be allowed to reach LyLo (Lynch or Lose) at all. A townie that lurks that much has a very high chance of being a game losing mislynch.

Muttly being quiet at this stage is a bit odd, I admit, but we still have a ton of time before the deadline (Methinks this one is livable unless something really stupid happens)

1 - I dont really know why, but I tend to beleive O. I am not against lynching him if I am the last vote kind of thing, but I wouldnt pick him as my first choice.

2 - Xyem, seems to be really pushing it with Joe, is this because thats the way he is or has another odd role to play. Dont know him well enough, but am just as fine with seeing him swing as O at this point.

3 - Pazzer lurks but always adds what I find to be original thoughts.

4 - SPF does the opposite in my opinion. He posts usually in support of lynching the latest flavor of the day. I find this suspisious.

Actually, since the RVS part of D1 I've been pretty much just saying we should lynch Orryyrro. I admit I haven't provided much in the way of original ideas, but I don't think I've been switching my vote (or even suspicions) around that much.

Nothing of substance, just trying to fix the bolding.

Orry has become such a target that no-one else has really been examined too closely.

That's true and it's something we should watch out for,l I'm sure the mafia are loving this (if Orry is town).
The deadline is ages away so we have plenty of time to discuss everyone with the level of activity we have right now.

Basically hasn't offered anything materially constructive and is distracting us by mod-hating.
I understand not offering reads is a scumtell; Xyem has only offered one read.

Granted there are a few others who have provided little dissection. But Xyem feels the most suspicious to me.

Like I said I'm open to discussion on this topic, but it seems to have generated little so far.

I think you underestimate how much I hate wasting my time. Even if it did make me look scummy, it would just be bolstering my argument that Joe is interfering with the game.

For the record, this whole thing started because I threw my evidence in the ring that Joe is messing with the game. I wasn't looking for a metagame discussion on the details of it and I definitely am not looking for a repeat of day one.

If everyone is finding a discussion that you're provoking distracting, you could either stop discussing it or ask Joe to replace me because I'm not really having fun right now (except for thinking of ways around my pointless post restriction since he wouldn't drop/change it...) which is the whole point of playing in the first place!

If I'd been around at the end of day 1 I would have hammered Orryyrro as he claimed a name. Was all set to vote for him today. But his claim gave me pause. It's so outlandish he probably is the cop. Also it makes sense that he'd investigate Bazilisek as Bazilisek created the bandwagon on him.

Is in effect vanilla town for tonight and if mafia have a roleblocker we won't get any more info from him. Think we'd learn more by lynching him.

Don't like the way Bazilisek randomly selected or and then went searching for evidence to back it up. But if Orryyrro does turn out to be the cop then he's in the clear.

Only thing of any note Violator did was bring up the fact Mutty is a lyncher. So is probably just a random killing.

There's no point in the other mason claiming. As there's no way to verify the claim.

Nothing wrong with a creative mod though it would have been nice to know the deadline at the start of the day. Instead of having them sprung on us.

At the start of the day NotFrenchYet was calling for people to be more open. But wouldn't share thoughts about Xyem and Orryyrro.

Rodzaju posted how happy he was that mafia hadn't killed a vital town power role. Could be an attempt to appear town.

Xyem the reason I brought up your argument with Bazilisek was because I though I may have missed something. As at the time Bazilisek was still voting for you which is why I also asked if he though you were town or mafia. Don't think he answered that.

Assuming we have one Vitek's idea of vigging Orryyrro makes sense. Though to guarantee success it would have to be done tonight.

I think I ought to finally comment on that, though SirPrimalform (I think) has already figured it out and I dropped a few hints to that effect -- the original selection of Orry really was random and was intended to kickstart some discussion more than anything else, but as I started digging up through the thread and updating my notes with all kinds of stuff, I eventually found out that it actually is Orryyrro against whom I have the strongest case. Not that it was very strong, mind you, but that's to be expected at day one. For a long time, I actually thought I'd have to retract my vote as a better target started shaping up, but in the end, it happened like this.

You are definitely right it stinks of "sentence first -- verdict afterwards", and I'd be the first to criticise if anyone else came with something like that. But the deadline was looming and there was no time to try and do something about it -- I wanted to get my case in the open.
