bazilisek: A noticeable number of Orry's posts almost completely lack any relevant content (#111, #114). Towards the end of this thread (#164+), his contributions are primarily only insisting on sticking to "correct", i.e. pro-town procedure, which is a simple and efficient way to subconsciously implant the idea of him being town.
Never call out anyone for being too town. While a mafia member would, of course, try and pretend to be town, a town member would of course actually be town and thus play as town. You're creating a WIFOM situation by saying someone (in this case me) is acting "too town", there's even a page on the mafia wiki about why this is fallacious.

The reason I don't think anyone should be lynched today is that we don't have enough time to go over the reactions of the person well enough to make an informed decision anymore, hence the removal of my vote last night, when we would have still had time to get proper reactions from one person and then chose to lynch them or not.

At this point we have more or less passed the point of no return where we'll likely end up with a mislynch due to lack of evidence.

Had I not read Joe's mistake post I would have pushed against xyem harder, but I thought he was already at L-2 after my vote, hence my unvote of him when rabbit voted, etc.

@Vitek:
That previous paragraph should also explain that I wasn't willing to lynch just anyone, but I did want reactions out of xyem before it was too late to sort through anyone's reactions properly. Now I'm in favour of not lynching anyone unless it becomes blatantly obvious that somebody is scum. (or, of course, we are given additional time)

@Baz:
Why use the argument that leads to obvious WIFOM? I'm sure you know the game well enough to know why you shouldn't use the "too townie" argument, especially in conjunction with saying I am tied for the second scummiest voting pattern.

Vitek: And what additional knowledge we get from lynching random person?
Potentially, much. Were as the potential in no lynch is zero. Orryyrro would have been my day 2 vote barring additional information. That said, I will renge on TB for a bit and switch to O.

Unvote Twiligh, vote Orryyrro
I'm not going to vote until we at least find out if Joe is extending the deadline or not :\
(I'd dropped out a little there because of work. I can say in advance that I'll be more of an observer during this period, to see how these things work, rather than charging in and potentially messing everything up. I would never have been able to come up with a case like Baziliek's on my own. I need to read the previous games more closely, I think.)
Baz's case is better than anything else so I'll go with it for now and vote Orryyrro for now but I'll be around and prepared to unvote if needed.
I have to say, Baz's case against Orryyrro makes a sort of sense (if random.org had picked me would he have made the same case against me?).

Anyway, we have an hour and a quarter before the deadline. I think Orryyrro is on L-3 at the moment so vote Orryyrro, now he's on L-2.

I believe that makes it time for me to roleclaim?

I'm Poor Blind Jack (town vanilla).

And don't be fooled by Baz's case against me, he chose me at semi random and then tried to find a case afterwards, a case which involves the "too townie" fallacy, as I've already pointed out.

I'm all too aware of that considering I was his other target...
Why is it, whenever anyone is forced to claim, they say "town vanilla"?
Show some imagination, people!

Unvote French; Vote Orry

I'd say that because Townies down lie, but I am not going to follow a vote on the 'Too Townie' claim at this stage.

unvote French, Vote Baz because usually the ones who play that kind of card are mafia who want to muddy the waters a lot.

This is why I'm on the fence. >_> Even with the recent activity it all seems too hastily thrown together, which isn't surprising. If Baz can come up with the "flimsy" case (your word!) after a semi-random choice, that still doesn't make it any easier to work out who's scum. Hell, as Bard points out, the case itself could be evidence of scum...

Any flavour?

Unvote Orryyrro for now. It's a bit too hasty to my taste.

You should post your readings in case you get lynched.
I'd like to urge you to not vote for me, since I am town and killing me will do more harm than, well, not killing me.

Look at his arguments: 1) I have a scummy voting pattern, 2) My posts don't contain helpful information and 3) I am trying to to hard to appear town AKA the "too townie" argument.

Point 1: My first non-RVS votes were based on faulty information provided by the mod, when he said xyem was at L-3, so of course the pattern was odd.

Point 2: At the point he said it, nobody's posts contained any "helpful" information, since none of us know anything, I was merely being more honest about this.

Point 3: http://mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php?title=Too_Townie

"Poor Blind Jack, O wo! O me!
Bent of back and stiff of knee,
unwashed, unfed,
no friends, no bed.
Pity Old Jack! Pity poor blind he!"

Sounds like a very bitter individual.
Excellent motive for taking revenge on an uncaring town, wouldn't you say?

Unless the town's pity is the only reason he is still able to survive.

Anyhow, I have to go take my grandparents to get flu vaccinations, I won't be back until after the deadline.
