xyem: ...
Hmmm, mine was one of the panic votes (partially because I thought the deadline was tonight for some reason). So unvote xyem at the moment. Still not really sure what to do.

muttly13: Hasnt Orryyrro done the same exact thing and then further placed the burden of "proof" on the person he just accused while conveniently seeming magnanimous offering time to reply?
Yes, but traditionally I vote for Orry because of his lurking.
It feels a bit like bad form to vote for him while he is posting....

SirPrimalform: He only ever reached L-3 actually because he was L-5 before yours and littlerabbit's votes.
'Yes, but prior to joe editing his votecount, he said xyem was at L-3, hence my belief that he was at L-1 instead of L-3.

Yes, I posted that before I saw you'd realised the mistake. I'm surprised you saw Joe's mistake actually as he fixed it about 2 minutes after posting. :P

pazzer: @TwilightBard curious what meaning your vote for me had as I'd assumed it was just a rvs vote.
It was half RVS, half serious because I was afraid that a few of our newbies would see it as a good idea at that stage in the game and follow through.

As for our situation right now...I'm not sure, I really don't know. With the deadline so close, I'm really nervous about anyone we'd hit, I don't really have any solid town reads so I don't even have an idea who to avoid.

And like game 5 we're gonna debate, debate, debate, andlynch without a claim from someone because the time limit doesn't allow us too. Increasingly dangerous.

RAndom.org says that I should vote for person 2, which is NotFrenchYet...soooo

[bVote NotFrenchYet and after that, I'm gonna put my contacts in so I can see more then two inches past my nose.

My first post was immediately after the vote count, I didn't re-read the vote count since I had already read it, so I didn't notice until after he pointed out the mistake in a separate post. Had I noticed, I probably wouldn't have unvoted when rabbit voted for xyem.

Given the tone of this, was the vote intended to be bold, or not?

yeah, I only just put my contacts in...so let me redo that XD

Vote NotFrenchYet

Although I admit, I'm a bit frustrated at the deadline still.

Vitek: First day lynches really are 0/7 here? Wow we are terrible.
You can't really count M6, as there was no conventional mafia in that game, but yes, we are terrible. Considering pure random choice should give us around 25%.

Then again, in small data sets, probability is extremely unreliable.
Wow, three pages in a short absence..! Commencing readthrough...

(Just for information, I'm a she. ^_^ )

I'm a little concerned for the number of votes I seem to have attracted, but I guess that's to be expected after a stunt like that. I was aware asking Xyem for more detail might set some alarm bells off, but I think to be accused of "twisting things" is a little over the top... I just thought it would be a good idea to try and use what we had, rather than ignore it.

(...This jump-in-with-both-feet approach can probably be explained by the fact that it's the first time I've ever played this game, in any shape or form...!)

Well, I admit that my vote is random. I am however, very uncomfortable about this predicament. I'm almost tempted to vote nolynch on basis of:

If we have a doctor/some kind of protective role, we have the same % of preventing the night kill. If we have an investigative role, we have a chance of ferreting out who a mafia member is, without the very real chance of losing a power role.

The other problem is, we're relying on a dice roll, far more then if we were going on a slip up or some other type of evidence. You can't trust the vote count even IF we hit a mafia because so many of us are looking for a random person to lynch for the sake of lynching (look at day 1 of Game 5...hell, follow Game 5 up until Typhoon pulls his jester move to get an idea of how royally screwed the Town was) that it's very easy to just make the choice of throwing someone under the bus to make them feel like town.

If this continues one like this until it's time to go to bed tonight, I'll probably change my vote to a no-lynch, just because there really is nothing to go on. I'd far prefer a longer deadline to a no-lynch though.
same i think some more time is needed
unvote xyem since it isn't really doing anything useful and I don't really know who to suspect, and I think we need more time.
50% chance to lynch mafia day 1 is surprising as I though it near impossible. A deadline extension would be great. But doubt it will happen. Think even a bad lynch would be better than a no lynch. As at least we would learn something. Also worried if we no lynch will have the same problem day 2.

Think we'd learn the most lynching either Muttly, TwilightBard, Violator or Xyem. So
unvote NotFrenchYet, vote Muttly
