SirPrimalform: There's also no rule saying I can't declare myself the Pirate King and take over as new mod but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work just because I wrote it in bold.

I am now the moderator of this game, all hail the Pirate King!

Well, I guess because I haven't yet been modkilled it must be true!

Vitek: Your orders, captain?
Xyem is to be made to walk the plank! If he flips town then we tar and feather Joe.

Aye, aye, sir!

SirPrimalform: If he flips town then we tar and feather Joe.
The awesome thing is, I don't know what I will flip.

I'm hoping I flip town because Joe will get epic points for recognising my defection :D

Well this pretty much confirms you were scum I suppose. This means that lynching you was the correct thing to do... I think. If you flip town it's because Joe recognised your defection, but that's hardly a loss because without lynching you we wouldn't know you were town and so we wouldn't be able to trust you anyway.
Sorry about the absence, had a couple of days of leaving my laptop at work in order to force myself to catch up on sleep. -_-

Calling for me to hammer him but not self-voting removes the jester option, as that'd be a lot quicker.

If we survive this, Pazzer's next...

'Defect' implies antitown to start with, so if you DO flip town based on your defection, we can all still bask in the moral glory of having correctly identified scum :P

I know no-one would have been able to trust me. This is why Vitek is wrong about the instant town win on my defection. It was LyLo so no-one would risk trusting me to name the other mafia.

It was worth it just to see your reaction :) Wish you'd had unvoted me though, would like to have seen what happened!

@NFY: Actually, I didn't lie. I did actually stop the night kill, on purpose, to save the town. So your "moral glory" was killing the person on the other team who was helping you. Congratulations.. I guess.

xyem: killing the person on the other team who was helping you. Congratulations.. I guess.
Well, you have to die sooner or later for the town to win anyway.

Nuff said.

But I'm intrigued now. Sounds like you're a mole or a traitor.

I know.. at least, if Joe didn't change my team officially, I would have.

I was hoping town would keep me for last.. as a thank you for saving them perhaps :P

@NFY: Neither.. I was (am?) Vanilla Mafia. I wasn't joking when I said I want this game to be fairer.. I did everything in my power to make it so.

As I said right at the start. What's the point in winning if I win because the games rules make me win, rather than because I'm a good player?

Also, really? Killing the person on the other team is more important than killing the people who are trying to kill you?

We can't really do that now can we? We're at what we assume to be LYLO, with one scum identified and only vague ideas about others. From a strategic point of view, who should we have lynched?

You still count as one of the people who are trying to kill us...

NFY because she is employing very scummy tactics trying to get people lynched. Why everyone was ignoring it is beyond me. She is regarded as town because no-one counter-claimed.. yet there is obviously claim restrictions in place. Joe could have easily prevented a counter-claim.

Ignoring that really makes Town "Too Dumb To Live".. especially if they follow her advice and lynch pazzer (that's a favour for being reluctant to vote for me.. if anyone will believe me that you are town anyway. I tried!).

I wouldn't be surprised to see her flip a town-sabotage role. Even now, she is claiming that it was better to kill the person who can prevent the nightkill than kill the other mafia. That's just downright bizarre.
Looks like we got one mafia so not a complete whitewash.

Thanks for your help Xyem don't think it will make any difference. As people seem to have made up their minds that i'm mafia. At least i'll get a lynch scene.
The black earth is frozen, hard as iron. The white sun winks at the towertops.

Day Five Final Votecount
With seven alive it takes four votes to lynch.

4 - Xyem (cast by LittleRabbit, Vitek, Pazzer, Rodzaju)

Not Voting - NotFrenchYet, xyem, CaptainPrimalform,

Xyem has achieved majority vote.
Stop posting.

Please await further information. I'll try and do it tonight, but it may have to be tomorrow night, forgive me.
As the Pirate King, I think it's rather unfair to halt discussion but make us wait until tomorrow for the lynch scene.
The bright, bleakness of the day reflects the people's thoughts. Hope is very thin, their bodies are weary and their minds are overcome with ache.
Snarling. Howling. Choking growl.
Heads turn. The little creature in the crowd looks about, muzzle darting to and fro.
Baa?
It bleats pitifully.
The Town stares at it. Look into its eyes. Question it. Bully it. It stands on four skinny legs and looks down. The people are disturbed. The creature is strange. Familiar, yet...
One man steps forward and takes the beast by the neck.

It lashes out, throwing the man to the floor. Whipping its head so violently its backbone seems to crack in two. And such a cry! A wailing roar, gutteral and passionate. The beast bounds away from the crowd who pursue it to the archway, taking up rocks from the flowerbeds and hurling them at it.
Beneath the archway the beast waits. Looking out to the place where the King and the child were buried. A rock hits it hard in the side, and it flinches but doesn't move. It looks into the crowd. Staring piercingly.
It reaches round with its head, scraping its teeth across the skin of its back, and my, what big teeth they are. Hold one in your hand it could be a knife. Aggressive. Like shattered stone. It growls and worries at itself and more rocks fly. Few hit. Blows that leave blood showing on white wool.
A tremendous rip. The sheep tears its own skin right off.

Head cocked, the beast looks back to the townspeople. The townspeople shudder at the sight. Clutch at the earth's spoils and throw them, defensively, fearfully. The beast's eyes bleed, its grey-black shoulders are torn exposing red. Its ribs showing through its skin are broken and angular. It wobbles on its feet, unable to stand any more, it collapses, letting out a pitiful whine. The whine seems to speak sorrow, and grief.

It stays their hands. They hold their rocks and watch, as the beast's heavy, laboured breaths grow more pained. In time, the difficulty is too much, and the breaths stop altogether.

The town breathes again. Watching the dead wolf entirely unsure what to think. They killed a monster, that much is certain. The silence drives them back to their homes, to their beds where they can think.

Xyem has been lynched. He was the Big Bad Wolf (MAFIA VANILLA).
or
you may prefer to remember him as
The Big, Redeemed Wolf. (TOWN XYEM)

Night V. Let's go! I'll try not to take to long.
