Oh, I'm not really concerned. I suspect that we're going to end up second in the division regardless on what we do as of right now and then can join the play-off for promotion, but if we don't well, it would give us a chance to build up some skill before we go play the real deal.

Btw. 1:3 would mean us winning since we're playing an away game ;)

I'd prefer if we do, simply because that means we'd be playing with a good deal of human clubs/players and I'd consider that more of a thrill. It might even encourage some of us :p
However, if we don't now, we would next season, so... I'm not overly concerned either, but I enjoy trying to guesstimate results ;)

Well, winning by 5 was far more than I was expecting. Did our opponents ship Djorou and Traore in to play in their defense? XD

Since a good deal of us seems to be following the team training schedule, I wonder if we could get the following set up (or if anybody would have objections):

One full week of Technique
One full week of Positioning
Two full weeks of Game Vision
Two full weeks of Speed

That would be equal to about 10/20 points and would boost most of us in the ~25 range for these four skills, which seems to be the point where they start to pay off in the Match Engine (according to a few people on the forum).

After that we could have a look at a bit of (short) passing, since we still have plenty of misses and another patch of Stamina (not sure on that one).

I don't have a problem with that schedule.

Nor me - at this early stage in our careers it makes little difference i would think. If it takes 25% ish to start making a difference in the match engine then lets get some stats up to that mark asap....

Yes, Kankkunen is "training" an AMC position, so don't worry. Next season we have two strikers (Yaman & Friberg) so we're all set :)

we paid 75k for Yaman, which took its toll on our team treasury, but no reason to worry about that, I'm sure it'll improve quite rapidly :)

I tried to terminate my contract by paying maximum amount, but that didn't work. I think they should add something like "buy out your own transfer fee". BTW I had never played the game regularly until GoG FC, so tell me if you don't like training schedule, special skills or anything.

Here's hope that we can 'sell' Mr. Kankkunen for more at the end of the season!

I'd say that while it makes sense for you to follow the Team Training, you should do so (Positioning and especially Game Vision) and when you can't (Technique and Speed) you could always go for a bit of extra Game Vision and Positioning (or heading if you want to).
Then again, I'm not your manager :p


I'd try my luck with a little more Composure and Flair before adding additional talents and with you around, I think that both of yours are fine (we should win more often than not and you should perform well in average).

Are you going to play that permanently, or are you going to switch back to FC once you return to your previous club? I wonder since if you're going to stay as a midfielder, we'd have the opportunity to include Tackling into the team training session and still everybody (but nmillar and grynn) could profit. That could be kind of very useful.

Sure we can add tackling. When you guys want to train it? Next week should we move to 1 skill per week traininig?
