Robbeasy: I've got my personal training set to same as Team training, except for a saturday where I work on Short passing. Is it beneficial to keep your trainig the same as the team training?

Also - I'm down on the Team sheet as ML, but I came in as a MC, and have 100% experience in Centre - I am Left Footed though....;o)
avatar
Vitek: Yup, it does make you improve faster but sometimes it can not fit your needs so it's better to switch to something else.
Don't woory, I won't let you play at my position. :-) As KneetheCap said. He can just put you on MC and you become MC after match is played. It's tomorrow btw. :-)
Excellent. Just playing a pvp match now - does it help my development, or is it just for laughs?

From the Manual (talking about human team while you are in the same city as your team):
If team training and individual training match, you reach 100% potential training effect.
If they differ, you reach 75% effect.
This rule only applies to 'match skills' like finishing, passing, crosses, etc. Sides, fitness and having fun are not affected.

Edit: Hmm, I need to train posting speed! :p

It is not tied to main game, so no it does not help your development but it gains you some ranking in PvP.
You play DR? I see you in action. :-) The game is really slugish though. Players and ball move like in some jelly.

There is bar under your training schedule that shows that, if someone haven't noticed.

I'm currently training with the team (+ long shots on Saturdays).

I'll be the Duncan Edwards of this team, yes I will.

Training efficiency bar? That won't work properly XD

Why?

Could you decide on which position you're going to assign me and what system we're going to play? ;)
And as somebody else asked already, what's up with the strange team training schedule? :p

Hardly surprising with stats of zero across the board! :P

what position you want to play?
Rule of thumb:

Whenever you player fitness is 82% or less (don't let it drop under 80%), train two consecutive fitness. And if the player's fitness is less than 95% on saturday after two slots of training, put the last slot as fitness (because we have a league game on saturdays)

following team training = 1slot is -2% fitness.
individual training = 1slot is -1% fitness.

Why do you want change anyway? You are one of 2 DC so there is no conflict.

KneeTheCap: what position you want to play?
Any. I don't have any personal preferences, as long as I know what sort of training I should set up and what outfit to purchase, I'm fine.
On that note, how long does outfit last and is it worth to go straight for the high quality expansive ones?

That depends on our team setting. If we're going for anything but four defenders, I'd have to switch. Considering that the position specific training is rather different and the effect long term, I'd like to know sooner than later ;p

I prefer 4-5-1 system with two wingers being almost attackers and one MC being defensive. So maybe it's more 4-1-2-2-1. I think we should base our tactics on players available. It's just fun so we shouldn't force people. So if we won't have another attacker, we should play with 1. If we find another one, we should play 2. So don't worry too much about position. Leave yourself as DC but if you want to be sure train universal skills for now so it will be useful even on other position.

You're a player, not the manager...;o)
His decision on formation etc is his to make alone - its in all our interests for him to inform players what sort of training they should be doing and where they will fit into the team though...

Can't wait, roll on tomorrow
Nmillar is managing the tomorrow friendly (since he is an assistant, and friendlies are a great way to experiment with line-ups and get to know the manager screen).

So, any suggestions you have about your position and whether you want to play tomorrow or not, should be directed at him :)

I'll take over the league match :)
