so i just started gog for the free fallout games and my cpu keeps corrupting my files so i thought well i shall use the gog downloader instead, it wont work

so what i did was install the latest version (i guess) and then booted it up.All i see is a red circle that says next to it offline and on the right saying connecting.... it wont connect. i have fast speed internet so idk why it cant connect to gog servers.i tried the settings, nothing, i clicked on update, nothing. apparently your suppose to see a msg saying to enter you email and password but ive never gotten that msg.

Hi,

Please use this topic for all Downloader related questions and issues:

Have you tried exiting out of the Downloader entirely and re-logging?

Lets go over the steps, shall we?

1. Close the GOG Downloader - clicking the "x" button will just minimize it to your system tray, so right-click it and choose exit.
2. Go to your games library - either list or shelf.
3. Click on the game you want to download - that will open the files available for download.
4. There's a button regarding the GOG Downloader mode - click on it to enable it (it'll turn green).
5. Click on the file you want to download - this will call up the GOG Downloader which in turn will bring up the window to enter your credentials.
6. After you log in, the download should start automatically.
7. Add files by clicking on them from within your game library.

And before trying any of this, please delete everything from the %localappdata%\GOG.com directory after you've completely closed the GOG Downloader.

If things still don't work for you, post in the thread Judas linked to.
